Her bloody hooves pushed her on, refusing to stop. The dark red eyes scanning over her new surroundings. She stopped, listening to soft wind and the birds sing. Where was she? Scarlett looked around for a few moments until she continued on, the soft wet grass rubbing against her black legs. This was a peaceful place that she could call home, she could have it all. It seemed as no others lived among the forest to claim it. She laid down, her long legs aching with pain from her long journey. Scarlett listened to the birds sing and the deer run past her. This was the first time she had seen this happy of a place since her, escape. She wished to stay here, for only a few weeks until she could get her strength back up to start off once again. Scarlett wasn't able to stay in one place for too long, because of them. Resting her head against the lush green grass. She slowly fell into a deep sleep. The thunder crackled and she ran, ran as fast as she could. They were catching up to her too fast. A tree fell, fire slamming down in front of her. She was trapped, and cornered. The humans roped her, choking her half to death. She screamed as load as she could and tried harder then she could but finally gave up. A man took his gun out and -- Scarlett jumped up from her sleep and looked around. It was obly a dream. |
