Silence, quiet and finally safety in The Basin. The impersonator's footsteps were alone, she now traveled that way. Male company...friendly company was no longer her desires. She was no longer in a relationship, and most of her friends were busy. To her surprise she was enjoying the silence and she was taking the time to wonder around the Basin, the home she knew by heart. She knew every nook and cranny of the Basin. She spotted however two figures in the distance. Her time alone was apparently coming to a quick close.
The closer she got, the sooner she recognise the hide of Deimos, personally, she had only met him once before. Arah however took it upon herself to know each one of her leaders. Setting her pace at a quick trot her eyes fell towards an apparent intruder. Wonderful. She hated dealing with intruders, however the presence of the powerful Deimos filled her with confidence. Quietly she slipped up the side of Deimos and looked over their unwelcome visitor. The mare of the unicorn but Arah's nose still picked up on The throat's smell. Raged filled within her and Arah eyes narrowed. She remained silent and kept her face blank from emotion, she would not give the other's the pleasure of knowing her anger, the pleasure knowing her the mere presence was pissing Arah off to no end.
She was a member of the herd that was nearly forcing open warfare on The Basin. She did not belong here and she wouldn't be around for much longer, Arah had no doubt that Deimos would make sure of that. Still her golden eyes turned skyward, not for a moment trusting her to be alone. She did not notice anything, but with the gift from the sun god, fire ran through her body instead of blood. The desire to fight this intruder and any other out from her home ran true. Her eyes glanced at Deimos again, only for a second, she knew his reputation. She knew that he would be able to destroy this petty mare in a matter of seconds.
Was she simply and idiot for appearing in their territory, she had to know that this was The Basin's land? Had Kri sent her here, if not Arah certainly hoped her ass would be kicked by her leader for breaking the invisible barrier. To Arah, her being here was breaking the silence between the herds. The delicate balance was being broken, tipped by her very presence here. She was breaking the unspoken rule, that you did not appear in the other herds land you were declaring war.
Maybe that was her purpose here? However her easy-go-lucky attitude suggested differently. It suggested that she wanted to play games. Well Arah was a master at them, she could speak riddles, tell half truths, and have you walking over an edge just because she asked you too. She watched the other mare now, a coy smile danced across her lips. That was her job after all, and she was practically good at it. Only, sadly enough, Arah would not be able to engage in any games. Deimos would tear them from limb to limb before she could even mutter. a single word
A gentle sigh tumbled from her lips and as she sifted her position slightly. Feeling glad that she had an ally by her side.
Haunted by my eyes, the way they hold your attention even in the loudest silences.
