Leliel's eyes moved to the flickering dove that settled itself on the dark mare's withers. It looked like the stars come to life, brought down from the heavens to a very physical plane. What kind of sorcery was it and why would she feel it necessary to steal the stars from the sky? His expression became guarded as he watched the dove and the mare. His shoulder muscles twitched again and the stallion snorted, scraped a hoof across the ground and shook out his metallic mane. If she was dangerous he'd gone and screwed himself over, backing himself into the copse of trees so he could sleep. He'd been a fool to even think that he could sleep without someone finding him and harassing him.

He found it surprising, the mare's expression when he'd accused her of being the danger. The tilt of her ears and the step she'd taken away from him screamed of an uncomfortableness of being accused. Perhaps he was wrong about her and her sorcery being dangerous. It certainly wouldn't be the first time he'd been wrong about someone.

The metallic stallion's eyes narrowed as she went so far as to assure him that there were more threatening things in the forest than she then introduced herself. One of Leliel's ears laid back against his head and he cleared his throat. "Leliel." he said then took the chance to move around the mare so that he was no longer cornered by her and the flickering dove. Once he had enough room he stretched his four wings out, groaning quietly at the almost painful pull of overused muscles. "If it's dangerous why are you alone?"
