Leliel's eyes narrowed as the cryptic mare, again, didn't shed any light on the situation he was in. He was growing increasingly weary of her and her stupid, cryptic way of speaking. Were all mares like this? Why couldn't they just come out and say what needed to be said. Why did they all have to make something sound mysterious? He was leaning more and more toward just leaving her standing there and taking to the air once again to scout this newfound land from the air. That would probably be the only way he'd get any kind of information.

At the sound of his brother's voice Leliel wanted to shrivel up and disappear into nothingness. He thought he'd left that good for nothing sun child back and Janat. "What do you want?" He very nearly growled as he turned his head in Shamsiel's direction. To bring him back to Janat, no doubt. Well he wasn't going back. Shamsiel would have to go back by himself and everyone would have to find another scapegoat. He wasn't going to be the one to blame for everything anymore just because he wasn't born with a light coat.

Leliel's tail lashed against his legs and his ears lay flat against his head as he stared Shamsiel down and listened to him speak. He spoke with the same tone everyone from Janat did, as if he were better than everyone around him. That very tone had been used on him countless times before, but he'd rarely ever used it himself.

Shamsiel seemed to become enraptured by the cryptic mare and the golden thing on her back so he took the chance to back away, hoping that his dark coat would help him blend with the shadows. He'd had enough. The cryptic mare had gotten on his nerves easily, but Shamsiel was enough to drive him away.
