INK FAN ART
Ink loves to get gifts or do art trades, since he enjoys being represented in a variety of styles and even artistic forms!

Ink is a character that I try to be as artistic as possible with, so his posts will usually be a new drawing every time. On Helovia he is played as a black Akhal-Teke breed, equine horse species, that has a magic ability to create ink and manipulate it into drawings.
This is not always the case when thinking of Ink for artistic reasons however. I hope to challenge myself and grow not only from these posts drawings, but also in other art pieces with him, so to avoid being restricted, Ink can essentially shape shift. Although this is not technically part of his Helovian character, as a source of art inspiration for me, I want to be able to portray Ink in a variety of ways. Ink retains some core 'inkiness' to him however regardless of the art piece or form, so here's some tips on how to accomplish that :3
- Ink should always be drawn in black and white or gray-scale, and sometimes possibly with one or two colors. The idea is to push myself and others with the boundaries of black and white and to really bring out shading and design with limited color.
- Ink can take on any shape, but is always a very tall, thin, awkward looking thing with an unusually long and full tail (or whatever's closest to a tail in his form).
- His black color is actually very shiny and can be iridescent, like wet ink.
- From his hooves and tail tip ink is constantly produced and pools up around him when he's standing still.
- He can create shapes/creatures and animate them with the ink from his body, namely his tail, so long as part of his drawing is in some way connected to or touching him. If it is not connected to him, the drawing begins to lose its shape and splatters to the ground as simple ink. The drawings can just be outlines, or fully colored in with ink (examples in image above!)
- He's mute, so he converses with his ink drawings.
- He was picked on when he was little, so he's a bit of a longer and very cautious and suspicious.
- He tries to wander and find the good in life, but mostly all he sees is evil or destruction, which makes him incredibly depressed, bitter and cynical.
I can't always do trades, but sometimes I can so please ask! Otherwise he loves gift arts.
