It was nice to see a stallion not ashamed of being fond of youthful ones. A trait commonly called 'motherly', Azzuen had an amused affection for the young ones, particularly the one who was of his blood, but the innocence of youth was something he admired and aimed to protect for as long as possible - not overbearingly so, of course, but he wanted to allow all young ones to live that youthful life they were all entitled to live before being thrust into a world of adults and chaos, and no doubt sometime soon; war. Isilme was a land of war, while Helovia had so far proven to be peaceful, he felt like something far more chaotic and deadly was just around the corner. That Andash might not be able to use his wings in a battle was not a concern of the General, unless it was something Andash wanted to change. He had heard of Ktulu's journey to the shrines of the Gods, heard of the healing powers she had earned and of the strong legs she had been given because of it. He wondered at this, and made a note to mention it to the silvern stallion in the future.

It was nice to have found a comrade, a kindred spirit other than his beloved mate. He loved Cassiopeia, but Azzuen was a militant, he thrived on action, on physical training and pushing oneself to the brink of their existence, only to recover and do it again the next day. While simple patrol work was good for general fitness, it did not test the limits of one's body like spars and proper training exercises could do. The General wondered at just how much movement the damaged wing was capable of, and suspected that with some effort, it could get a little bit of movability returned to it even without the Earth God's aid. The charred beast nodded his crown, pleased at the words Andash spoke, comforted in knowing he had another reliable Soldier within his ranks.

"The Resolute one is hard to miss, I am sure you will come across her soon enough." A wry smile curved his lips, and he added to his speech, "she appreciates honesty." It was the only thing he was sure about with the mare. As it was, all mares were still a mystery to the stallion, though he found himself drawn towards them, he was lucky to have Cass as his mate, though he was still pretty clueless as to how that had happened too. Their love was something that had simply developed over time, until such an occasion arose that they were able to express their feelings, they lingered on the borders of friendship for many months after their initial meet. Azzuen did hope that such fortune would smile upon this valiant steed before him, for he believed all those with a heart as sincere as Andash's deserved to experience what he had with his beloved Cassiopeia.

"I'm not sure what Cassiopeia told you of Helovia, but if you were willing to prove yourself to a God, there is a chance that you might gain use of your wings yet, Andash." He looked the stallion in the eye, quirking a brow quizzically upwards, silently questioning the stallion's beliefs, and resolve.
