The large white stallion stood silently while I spoke, the words seeming to not even reach him until I was completely finished. "You could hit me, and hope that the anger goes away." I stood in silence for a moment, comparing the age, size, and pure raw power that this stallion had over me. He was a ruler, so he has seen war before. From what the wolf told me, he had participated in the war in their past home, the World's Edge. A cold lump formed in my throat, and I made my decision.

My heart rate picked up again -as if it had ever slowed down- and the pulse of the large organ was present through out my whole body. Each limb ached with the sudden amount of blood flow, as well as my head. Instead of the pestering voices, I only heard throbbing. He offered it, go! What are you doing? Don't be a pussy They all chanted in my head, compelling me to throw my body forward.

As foolish as I am, I fell for it.

Every muscle in my hind quarters tensed, releasing my still body into a forward thrust. A few long strides brought me in front of the Lord of my home land. What am I doing? Hooves clutched to the frozen ground with ease, bringing me around his left side. Back legs shoveled into the snow and ice, skidding me to a halt beside Mauja. Cold black hooves reached into the air, aiming at what was hopefully his withers. As small as I was compared to the cold king, I felt this would do nothing.

The short amount of time that I was in the air exposed my underside; this was something that I had to remember to try to get around. I had done this move twice already in fights, the first time nothing had happened. Both heavy feet came back to the ground, a large huff of air escaping my chest as I landed hard.

Summary: Voodoo charges as Mauja, turning around his left and rearing, attempting to hit Mauja's withers.
