Before they could answer, a voice cut across the conversation, presenting the information correctly and succinctly. The brothers nodded in acknowledgement and acceptance of this, guarding their expressions to hide the similar rivers of hatred that flowed through them at the thought of it. Though they longed to capture the horned doctor, and poke at him with his own glass horn, they were loyal and obedient to their sister, and knew that it was best to bide their time. In the unknown darkness that had fallen the lands, it was important to take the time to know whose one's friends were, to gather strength before trying anything potentially stupid. The brothers of darkness and fire regarded the silver grulla with silence, unsure of what exactly to make of him. Their sister certainly was fond of him - both of them, in fact - but he had hidden away for so long, they did wonder just where his balls were. Naturally overly judgemental about any stallion who got close to their sisters (particularly Rishima, though for different reasons), the brothers merely shifted their blank stare from his silver bodice to the well travelled, vibrant bodice of Sage with a simple tilt of their crowns, happy to return to familiar banter with one they knew. "We look forward to it, whatever it is." With a matching wry grin crossing their lips, the brothers enjoyed the sense of mischief managed they received at her words, genuinely looking forward to a bit of shaking in the ranks, something that would keep them and their fellows fighting fit, ready for anything. "Not that you need it, but should you want it, we are happy to help." Maskan intoned curtly enough, his deep voice speaking for both of the brothers. |
