Slowly, the Glazier earned their approval, as he justified his craft with logic, and reassured the doubts of Sage that such a wall would certainly be enough to keep out intruders. Well, land-based intruders anyway. The likes of Sage would still be able to glide over it, though they had many guards with wings - and a sister who could take the form of a dragon - to prevent such an aerial assault. And most of the Pegasi they knew were homebound to the Throat, who were allies - and welcome across the borders. The brothers treated him coolly because they did not know him. It was the default they fell to most of the time when they did not know another creature very well. Not only did they not know Lace well, but his absence had affected the herd, and they could see no explanation for said absence.
