The mountains begin to rumble. Small rocks quake, then larger stones, followed soon by boulders which topple like grains of sand from the peaks. A great tearing, like hundreds of bones cracking simultaneously, roars through the small valley between the mountains. A figure begins to emerge from amidst the mountain face, features forming from the soil and stones themselves. A large body, easily the size of a large hill, steps away into the valley at the foot of the Heavenly Fields. Legs built from dark, deep soil and hard stones lining limbs like armor. Between musculature of the creature and its joints, water seems to pour and soak the earth below, sizzling like acid upon the ground where it walks. Upon its back and head, trees grow and whistle around in the wind of the night. A bellow of a calling emerging from the earthen chest, laden with rock and mosses, reaching out to the ears of anyone who would be listening. From heavy, thick brows of the earth, glowing green eyes glare out at the world. Who would face a demon of the earth? Who would put him to rest before he had an opportunity to destroy the hope of this world? [Four monsters are appearing across the lands. Your character can choose to only respond to one monster since they are appearing simultaneously in four separate locations] [You may choose to attack in the first post if you wish!] |
