The tides turn rapidly, the ocean swelling up the silver sands in the face of the newly risen moon. Waves lap raucously across the surface, tearing up small plants along the beach and reclaiming sand. Violent waves, relentlessly furthering their travels, but soon, the cause is seen. Heavy winds surge along the coast, stopping to twist along the surface of the ocean in the face of a large moon, slowly coiling around what looks like pure darkness in the pale, ethereal light. Limbs of strange, floating darkness laced with white strands of fast moving air grow into a large being. The torso begins to stretch, limbs long and lanky, upward toward the sky. Strange, obsidian armor forms along the body and matching claws form themselves at the ends of the appendages of the massive monster standing on the shore of the violent waters. A beast at the beach, tall enough to partially blot out the moon's light. A haunting face forming on a head formed of shifting wind and darkness. Acrid, fuschia eyes gleam with hatred and, most importantly, hunger. "Hhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeelllloooovvvvviaaaaaaaaaa," it roars into the distance, calling forth the destruction with a powerful gale of a voice. Limbs give forth to movement, with strange, glowing orbs being thrown outward, exploding upon impact on the ground with the fizzle of poison. Will there be a hero to stand against a monster of darkness? [Four monsters are appearing across the lands. Your character can choose to only respond to one monster since they are appearing simultaneously in four separate locations] [You may choose to attack in the first post if you wish!] |
