So let them rot,
See if I care
Malicious, dark spirits lurked behind me, their wails echoing in my ears. They called, begged, their misty forms flashing before me before vanishing, leaving a fading echo. I had thought the spirits would leave me after I crushed a few of their skulls, but no. They remained, torturing me with their pathetic wailing. I looked at their spirit forms, my brows narrowing. They brushed against me, leaving my skin tingling. I glared at the spirits as they wailed and moaned. Forcing myself to ignore them and their pathetic screams.
I sighed, roaming onward. My gray hooves pattered against the dirt pathway as I walked, gazing into the sky. I had been walking across Helovia for a few days, at least, I had thought it had been a few days.
