She was bored. In truth, the amnesia-stricken mare had been for some time. She didn't have anything to do today, and she didn't have anyone to talk to. Following the path aimlessly, the grulla mare was in her own little blue world when a booming voice caught her attention. Jerking her scarred head up she slipped into the deepened darkness just a fraction off of the path to ensure safety and inconspicuousness. Despite wanting company, and perhaps needing it as well, the skittish flicka had not expected it so soon. Her wide eyes observed the few equines that passed nearby her hiding spot, all heading towards the place where the sound originated from. Several voices could be heard so the young lass knew that she was close to the location without trying to be. Anxiety flared up as she considered following after some of the others, for she had yet to meet all the members of this family. After an internal struggle she swallowed, deciding to brave meeting everyone. It wasn't like she'd be the focus of attention anyway.

Ears sticking like glue to her silver mane, she quietly moved out of the shadows with her head low. Her movements somewhat resembled a snaking motion with the position that her head was held. Her hooves moved lightly against the muddy track in spite of how high they were lifted with each jumpy stride, and her tail whipped her sides relentlessly. Every fibre in the mare's body was alert as she trotted unevenly in the darkness, her grey frame barely anything more than a ghostly, silver silhouette. Her nostrils were bombarded with the scents of equus, the fresh odours of her family. Sonya knew she would get used to it with time but right now it just made her nose wrinkle. There were more than she expected. Snorting the mare lifted her muzzle into the air as she saw the first wisps of hair and the figures of her family. More dialogue had passed in her time getting here, and as she crabbed to one side upon reaching the circle, choosing a place away from the others and a little further back, she worked her mind to figure out what was going on. Brown eyes scanned every single face gathered, all except Seele's unfamiliar to her. Noticing most regarding the mare standing beside a stallion, before the leads, it didn't take Sonya long to figure out what was going on and it made her more grateful that she'd joined the way she did. Fidgety, the mare shifted her weight frequently, moving laterally in addition as she listened silently.
