Solace had not wavered from his tone of voice for the duration in which the pair had spoke. As much as the Spanish bay was aware that individuals could keep up detailed masks for hours, Garnock preferred not to taint the otherwise positive outlook he had upon the stud. Terra was silent with listening and thus didn't crown the equine's mind, although the lack of chirping noises scattering his thoughts left him feeling a little unsettled. Maybe the intelligent little bird had picked up on something perhaps a little off with the beastly male before him, or maybe something to do with the silence that the other females presented them with. How odd...why would they come to such an area as the Threshold as ambassadors for their homes or potential new herd mates, why did they hold their tongue so? The bay's thoughts halted when Solace spoke once more, his tone unwavering, truthful Garnock liked to think. His response was steady but short, clearly thinking he needed to say nothing more. Garnock didn't comment on this, although he had expected some lecture on how being truthful was an asset for life. Well, wasn't Garnock the one to be doing that? Terra chuckled silently at the stallion's thoughts and was subsequently ignored.

Solace seemed to agree with his suggestion, and the bay's dark lips curved into a small almost knowing smile. Flicking his thick, wavy tail, the stallion shifted his weight upon realising how much he had been leaning on his left side. No wonder his knee hurt! Lifting said leg from the ground, he stretched it a couple of times before turning a little, his gaze drifting toward the lightness of the trees, even as his comrade spoke. It seemed he was also confused about the silence the females presented them with as he looked at them, his crown a touch of centre. Terra figeted in the trees before fluttering down and landing in absolute silence on Garnock's withers, among a few ragged curls of his ebon mane. Receiving his companion with a twitch, noble chords spoke again in reply to his acquaintance. I would appreciate that greatly, Solace. Lead the way. The acceptance was given with a polite nod in parting from the females, not showing them his baffled-ness at their silence. He waited for the grey to turn in the required direction, and when he did, the shorter bay followed, his strong legs taking the same strides as Solace despite the height difference. It would be wise to remember this journey...

if you want to go ahead and start the next "chapter" of this in the herd lands, as long as whoever the leader is played by agrees, we can continue! :D Forgive by negligence at replying as well, really sorry x.x
