i just want your strawberry kisses

Her head lowered toward his as he grovelled before her, her lips brushing the tumble of hair from over his eyes. She smiled, chuckling slightly. "Stand, sir knight," she whispered as he glanced up toward her. Slowly her rose, his gaze averted and sheepish. "You are too kind, milady, I-"

She had been standing under the cooling stream of water for some length of time before she was disturbed. When she was, she found herself growing quickly annoyed that her daydream was cut short. Her eyes fluttered open, torn from her fantasy by the sound of quiet splashing. Gentle ripples spread out across the lake, disrupting the water. The noise, she quickly discovered, was due to another horse wading into the waters, and as she squinted - eyes burning with the light after having them closed for some time - she realized who it was.

A sudden flush swooped up into her cheeks and she suddenly felt very warm and flustered despite the chilly waters that rained down upon her. She quickly turned away, only to shove her nose into the water. Snorting, taken aback as water flooded her nares, she stumbled away from the waterfall and stumbled. Her hoof had caught a rock as she carelessly shied to the side and, though she tried hard to find her footing, she fell.

Suddenly submerged, the mare found the bottom of the lake and pushed herself up, bursting from the surface with a gasp as water poured from her sodden fur. Parting her lips to suck in breath, she tried to snort out the water clogged in her noise as she steadied herself. The flush that had heated her cheeks suddenly felt like it was burning her entire body - she was surprised the water didn't heat up a few degrees. Panting, she sheepishly glanced to the side to see if he had noticed. No doubt he had. He was probably finding it very amusing, watching her flail around like a mere child - or worse, like a fish. She glanced down at her reflection, shamed and embarrassed, - she had to so something to collect herself.

Judging from her reflection, though, the hair was untangled from her antlers. Silver lining and all that jazz.

She cleared her throat, getting her breath back as she leaned down to sip the water quietly. She had no way of really improving the situation beside act casual. Just pretend it never happened and everything would be fine.

Probably.

...Not.

It was his fault though. He had taken her off guard. Prick.
"Talk."
