After the fall we'll shake it off

What an unsocial creature she was. Hanging in the background, avoiding things that would give her reason to hold a conversation. The kinds that collected names, and the brief histories of those she may learn. The grey had often lived a life of great silence. It was starting to get to her. Saphira wanted to be something more than a silver shadow that hung by the trees, watching the wind stir their limbs, only hearing their song. Each time she dared to move forward, she retaliated by taking more steps backward. The mare couldn't quite force herself to find Artemis, or join in a session of healing. Or say more words to this Apollo. She couldn't find a part of her that needed to know a name with the faces she glimpsed now and again. This place didn't feel like home. Did she want it to be? The question often lingered on the edge of her mind. Yes, and no, was often her answer. The lady still missed what had been, but there was no going back.

The grey began a walk, taking herself out of her comfort zone deciding it was time she saw more of this Helovia. There had to be something here that would make her want to stay, spark her interest. Break her habit of quiet recluse. Long she let her hooves work across the ground, while her green eyes looked high and low for something. It was peeks of mountains she began to follow, wondering if they grew in distance, or protected something of worth. The further she wandered, there seemed to be a strange fog in the distance. Puzzled, since the weather was only slightly cloudy this afternoon, cautiously she lingered closer. Was there water out there? A shore? Soon she was only met with another question? Was that a giant piece of glass? Certain of a trick, she held at a safe distance, letting her verdant gaze poke and prod it for flaws.a
