Cypress
Night is was when she got away.
She needed time to think, and get out of that clustered forest. There her thoughts were jumbled up in a ball of madness which should couldn't figure out how to untangle in the thickness of the trees and the tight spaces. It was hard for her to rest there either, whenever she would lay down there would be some sort of prickly thing stabbing her, and it would be too uncomfortable to stay in that position. She just needed to get away. Happily, a large beach wasn't too far away from the dark and deep forest.
She reached the beach in time, because her legs had locked under her when she was almost a yard away from the shoreline. A slight breeze passed her, reminding her of cold. Of how it was like to not have heated days. It blew her mane forward, the dark to light colors, long and flowing in the midnight sky. She could hear the small clap of waves in the short distance. As the water climbed the shore it almost reached Cypress when it went back down. Oh, how Cypress loved to see how the water climbed and pulled itself all the way up, until it gave way and went back. She also loved how she knew much about the moon and the waves. How it controls it. She wanted to be able to control water someday, maybe even objects. But she knew that wouldn't be for a long time. Sadly. Her hair had stopped blowing and was now laying down her neck gracefully once again. The rose still holding its place near her ear.
Cypress wanted to let her thoughts run wild here, it was her getaway right? She can do whatever she wanted here! She wanted to let anything nearby know her and her thoughts. Hmmm... What could she do to get everything or one to listen? She could.. yell it. But, that was not what she would think of herself. She was calm. Not the yelling type. She could... Oh! She could sing them! Oh how lovely it would sound!
Cypress prepared for the song she had already made up in her mind. Reaching her head high in the sky, towards the glazing moon. In this darkness it looked as if glowing. Taking a breath in before she sang, her eyes nervous something would hear her... that wouldn't want to be her friend. But also happiness. She began with a soft aaaaaa her throat letting the lyrics lever her mouth perfectly. Then she started to sing her thoughts "Oh, I have been wanderen' for a while now.." she held the now for a few moments then started up again. "I have come across some wonderful friends, but I still regret my decision..." she paused to take a breath. "To stay here in this land. To lead a different life. To live without a family."She stopped tears coming upon her eyes. Why did she have to get split from her parents? Why?

Through the skies she went. Gilded wings coiled and furled, downy feathers fluttering from the wind as the young deity coursed through the heavens. The stars were out tonight, she noticed in the midst of her flight, and the sight of them alone warranted a smile from soft pink lips. The force of the wind blew the golden-ivory strands from her mane, whipping them along the curvature of her neck like silk. It was finally cool enough for a flight, and Israfel was never one to pass up such an opportunity. |

Cypress
The tears came upon her in seconds her eyes overflowing. Her heart heavy with sadness for herself and others if they could see her like this. She could imagine no one liking when this happend to a foal. But she knew there were some horrible equines out there who do nasty and cruel things to get their way. Her mother had told her to steer clear of them.
Looking around at the pale white moon in the sky she dug her hooves deeper into the sand. It felt like dirt but more broken up and loose. But dirt would stay together in clumps, but sand could just fall right through your hair no mess. But Dirt would make it clumpy and horrible. Cypress liked comparing different elements in her mind. Seeing which one would be better, and which one weaker. It was fun to her. Even though it was just with herself. She liked it. Even though she had pushed away the thoughts of her parents and sister, she still could feel the soft warm tears falling down her cheeks.
A small vision shot through her eyes, it was of a white horse golden markings on her wings. Eyes of a piercing red. She seemed so real. Yet different from others. Then Cypress noticed... it was the horn. She had a horn as well as a tail! A hybrid? Cypress had never thought of it before. She had heard stories of them, and how they were still out there. But she had never met or seen one.
She heard a small swoop from above. A light beat, a graceful one to be exact. Maybe she was about to meet this new beating mystery. But she decided to let that go until she tried to figure out was it was. Maybe a bird? No... A pegasi, they were always special! She wanted to meet one. Not once, had she met in her travels. Surprisingly. Staring off into space for a while was her only answer to occupation. She knew not most would like that. Staring off not thinking. But she found it relaxing. When she was done, and she moved, it felt like she hadn't moved in 100 years and was just waking to the world.
Behind her she heard hoofsteps in the sand, then a voice it was soft and relaxing, "hello there!"she paused then spoke again in a soft voice "are you lost, young one?" she asked her voice concerning. The hoofsteps were light and frail as they made their way closer to her. Swallowing Cypress turned. To see a white pegasus standing almost two bodies away from her. Her wings folded to her sides and a horn atop her head- wait. A horn? Was this the horse of her vision? Looking into the striking red eyes she knew. It was the mare from her vision. "Hello, ma'am" she spoke a soothing voice of silk "I am Cypress and I am fine, thank you for asking". But her face before didn't show it. She had now hidden her emotions and was looking at the mare a regular look on her face, although she was quite surprised.
