Farenjer & Arah

It seemed so long since he had withdrew from his herdlands to see the true world again. Now that the sun glimmered and washed the corrupt world into warmth. His grim hibernation had been completed. Simply over with, and the unicorn could then explore it's expanse again. The place where he would start, was with the familiar grounds around the hidden valley. He had been anxious to see light and views after the dimmed events that occurred for seasons. His spirit was lit up, as if it had been washed with warm feelings. He even had felt the need to invite others to join him on his little expedition. But then had froze when his mind circled around the coldness his fellow brethren gave to others. Even with the few friendly unicorns who were scattered around, he wouldn't find any yes's now. Not after what had happened after the invasions, he was one of the few who had failed completely. Being punished and grounded as if he were a child. He felt his anger bubbling inside just thinking about the stare the reaper had held on him like he was a piece of prey. Farenjer only didn't feel anger but anxiety, guilt, and even fear right then.

The stag kept his pace advancing his way through the area. Treading hooves making a soft thud as he trampled through the thin crust of snow. Icy orbs dropped to the terrain that surrounded him, held on the landscape beyond. Tendrils of bundled grass forced there way out, especially around the stunted tree's that scattered around. The skies were covered with spread out smoggy clouds, but did not keep away the sun that had little ago, returned to it's rightful place. Farenjer soon felt the soft beat of his feet treading to a harder sound, and his eyes rested on the sea cliffs before him. He had made his way to the end of his forward direction. At the edge of a vibrant and icy sea. It's waves lapping at the foot of the cliffs, swallowing and resurfacing rocks that stuck out from the bottom. He halted, casually steering his way to the edge. His head drooped down, and his ebony locks were caught in the salty winds, brushing on his face. His icy gaze met at the hungry waves below, and a sigh parted from his lips. The stallion stood rigid, his head lifting high to look at the endless view of ocean. He pondered what was out there, whether it be on land, or underwater.

Finally done with his sight viewing, he rested his gaze onto the cliffs that stood around him. Staring beyond all he could hear was the heavy waves pounding below. He backed away contently and a small smile drew on his face. It was exciting to see the world again, and that hope had come out in time. He felt that with the sun blocking out the light of day, it had been something to keep him from ever changing. Something to bound him into the darkness and never let him out. But as he stared on the cliff side at the skies now, he knew it was somewhat of a test to prove that he had hope and faith. That he wouldn't fall into it like he did so long ago. And that in these days it was a new beginning to earn the respect from his brethren.

{Timeline wise for Seiren, I’m just going to say that this thread took place the day after she met Roland and Harmony ^^}

Storm colored orbs blink gently in the comforting rays of sun. Chilled hooves finally break free of the damp snow and stretch eagerly. The stiffness of Seiren’s back was now relived as her muscles tightened and then stretched. The rolling seas’ sound was sharper now as if the waves were angry the gleeful morning had arrived. Last night, in the crescent moon, the waves had been placid and stayed at a soft rhythm. Now they were banging heavily, un-rhythmically, against the cliff side. Maybe they were trying to wake her up. Seiren thought with agitation. The silver then quickly realized where she was. She must have fallen asleep here after she was talking to Roland. He’s a keeper Seiren thought to herself with a smirk. It was plastered on her face as she stood quietly in a daze like trance since she was half asleep. He was intriguing enough and Seiren liked how he was kind to her. With a brief yawn she walked to the cliff edge turning her attention on something different. Basking in the sunlight, at the water’s edge, Seiren could still taste the salted air on her tongue. However, Seiren could feel something. It felt as though she was not alone again.

Yes, her instincts were indeed correct.

Orbs strained towards her right and, finally, targeted across a chocolate colored stud. Another one? She thought to herself with a sigh. Just yesterday she had met the golden one, Roland, and the disgraceful other who came barging in on their conversation. Seiren wondered if there would be another non superior who would interrupt her today. Chuckling to herself, she examined the brute closely. Icy threads intertwined in his charcoal colored mane and tail. A striking horn stood tall atop his head and started black then faded to the same icy blue in his threads. Now the girl could actually see, and she was surprised to see on his face there was a unique marking such as hers. Electric iced lightning bolts seemed to trail from his eye and end on his cheek. A wry smile aroused on the girl’s face, and she was ready to play.

Taking a few steps closer towards the boy, she put on a shy smile and searched for his gaze with hers. “Hello there,” She smoothly called.

"Speak."

A phantom of the ice and snow

As he stood abroad in absent minded status. Farenjer realized he could feel the presence of emptiness draining away. Something or Someone was approaching towards him. He wondered who that could be, the stag was surprised to find anyone here anyways. Perhaps he had been followed from The Basin? But as these thoughts were spoken in his mind, an unfamiliar female voice called out
“Hello there,”

His head twisted around to look upon a female unicorn. His eyes naturally flicked toward the stand out red marking upon her dome, that circled around her horn, noticing the black arrows that stood there as well. Her coat was a dapple grey, her eyes a shaded black, and her mane and tail had a greyish and ebony tone to them as well. She was unfamiliar, a complete stranger. Not even The Basin's scents were hinted onto her coat. She had a pretty look to her appearance although. But Farenjer kept wary of even the prettiest of faces.

Pausing for a moment, he turned around to face the woman. His head nodding in welcoming's and he spoke over the crashing waves "Greetings miss..." His tail swept his back limbs and he observed her a little more. Curious of why she had suddenly decided to approach another she hardly knew. Especially in such lands like these alone. Luckily for her, he was not a cruel beast as his herd-landers were. He also questioned what was she doing out here in the North? She obviously was not apart of The Basin, perhaps that group of Assassins that had been mentioned several times around the valley... In any way he stood watching her with passive wariness. Silently waiting for unspoken words.

SEIREN

Your life means nothing to me.

Her orbs traced his turquoise markings once again. Seiren wondered if he too was looked at differently because of them. Well, at least his were nice looking and interesting. Her marking was just like a red target in the center on her forehead. How ugly, annoying, and embarrassing. She saw that his icy colored orbs ,right away, had gone to trace her marking. But why not? This marking was about the only thing that stood out on her dull coat. Taking a sigh, she stepped a bit closer, adjusting the weight of her legs. She gave a wry smile towards him and searched for his gaze.

Seiren’s muscles relaxed a bit from the roar of the waves and the stallion’s greeting. This stallion, whose scent lingered from the Basin, seemed to be pleasant and not blood thirsty like most of the Basin members or perhaps herself. The silver gave a grateful smile and nodded her head in response. Then her tongue found another greeting as well. “Greeting to you as well... sir.” It was about the kindest thing that had ever been spat out her mouth. Surprised by this kind and pleasant tone, she bites her lip. This action was out of shock. Why was she being so pleasant to this soul that she did not know from a hole in the wall? How strange. Well, it looks like this lightning boy will have his life spared today. She thought to herself with a smirk.

Again she examined him, but not his markings, his body language. She wanted to make sure that he would not lunge at her. At any moment he could spring and try to attack her, vengeance running in his veins. But Seiren did not get this vibe at all; in fact, she felt that if anyone were to spring it would be her. She felt better, even though the fae did not trust in him yet. Keeping the light conversation, Seiren was curious to know something. "What brings you here on this fine morning?”
