Joining in on the conversation had been a good idea, it was a good distraction for the time being to get her mind out of the horrid dreams. The new mare, Alysanne, was a unique character with what appeared to be a huge personality that she was already enjoying. She could see them becoming good friends in the near future, she was not rude or rash like some of the other mares tended to be. Kahlua had already become a very good friend to her and the sad day of Antheia's death had brought them even closer together. The sadness still was fresh upon her conscious and even bringing the thought forward caused her heart to contract painfully at the memory. Hopefully neither Kahlua or herself would ever have to relive anything like that ever again, it would likely tear them to shreds making it impossible to pick up the pieces again. “Brisa, thank you again,” Turning her head to touch Kahlua's shoulder in appreciation she had to fight back the memories once more as she was sure her friend was doing as well. "There is no need to thank me, I wanted to help." She replied gently.

Turning her head back to Aly she smiled gently. "It is great to meet you Aly, and I would love to join you, thank you. My name is Brisa." As she walked along with her two friends she couldn't help but get a sense of deja vu as the topic returned to what it meant to be a member of the edge. Kahlua had been nice enough to help guide her through all of this only weeks earlier when she had arrived here in Helovia. She had still not managed to find something that she felt drawn to job wise, it would take awhile for her to fully decide. Listening intently to the descriptions once again she refreshed her memory once again seeing if anything intrigued her this time around. The mention of Resplendance being the herd's healer was new information to her, maybe she would have to find the mare and see what the job was like for herself. She would have to track her down later on for as the beautiful glass statues came into view she was immediately distracted from the thought.

"Oh wow, Kahlua these are magnificent! How did you ever become so talented, I am jealous." She was absolutely stunned by the beauty the statues held, so much detail it was like they were real life creature before her. She was particularly drawn to the figure of the dragon remembering the creature that had bonded to Destrier. They were such exquisite creatures with a sharp mind, and they were just plain fascinating to her not knowing a whole lot about the capabilities of the magic within this realm. Turning her head to Kahlua she noted immediately the fear that flickered within her eyes, brow creasing in confusion momentarily it took her a minute to realize it was the churning waves at the base of the cliffs that caused her friend's anxiety. It was an unsettling sound that was fresh within both of their minds with the only memory being that of tragedy. Raising her blue eyes to meet those of her friend she held her gaze with a knowing expression yet spoke no words. There was nothing that could be said that wouldn't bring everything crashing back to reality for them both, neither of them needed that right now.

Sidestepping she bumped her shoulder gently into Kahlua's a small smile touching her maw as her eyes met hers once again. It would take a long time for them to heal from this experience, though the healing would never be complete it would at least make it easier to cope. "So Aly what kind of things do you enjoy doing? Do you have any sort of hobbies or what not?" Her lyrics were light in spite of the dark depressing images that plagued her mind lately, maybe a change of subject may help them all to feel a little more happy. She was interested in finding out more of who Aly was, she was a beautiful mare and one that could bring her own spirits up just by talking to her. That was definitely something that was a very good thing at this sad time, hopefully Kahlua could reap from this quality as well.
