Blitzen was in the Threshold once more, seeking a path through the brush and gently pushing aside saplings that would gradually grow into the giant oak that he and others would perhaps take shelter under one day or another given the right conditions. He had respect for the very nature that he used to fuel his body and he had respect for the resources he took from the earth.

The Foothills was a melting pot of nature and beautiful resources he used everyday and was a prime example of just how he respected his surroundings. It was also a place where he had encountered some warm and friendly souls that he could now call his family. You see, Blitzen had brothers and sisters throughout Helovia. He had yet to meet them all yet, he doubted he would. But to him, they were brethren and sistren. Maybe not by blood, but by a deeper connection running through their ancestors.

Commotion in the Threshold caught his ears and the fudge colored appendages swiveled to match the direction of the sound waves. His sky blue eyes shuffled to that direction as well as they darted to every moving leaf. His penti-horned head soon turned as well and then followed his body. In a synchronized manner, Blitzen's legs moved elegantly to propel his giant and rippling muscled frame forward. His dark brown feathering upon his legs swished with a rhythmic sound and his tail trailed behind him with a curled end.

Comet was swiftly darting through the air and weaving in and out of the trees. Comet had been excelling upon his skills in the air and Blitzen had grown proud of his progress. The maneuvers he had been practicing were far outweighing his previous skill sets in ability. Dives and spirals had been added to the mix now.

The griffin rapidly flew ahead as Blitzen's thought shot through their conjoined link and he took to the canopy of a tree as he reached the audible subjects. Comet was relaying what was going on to Blitzen as Blitzen approached. "Gah, I'm not sure we should get into this, Blitzen."

Blitzen heard it clearly and stepped into the clearing where a mare was and a tall white stallion was. Blitzen was taller than both of them, towering over the mare and a couple hands over the stallion. Blitzen's eyes narrowed as he looked at the white stallion and stepped forward, slightly in between the mare and between the stallion if a need arose. Blitzen stomped his two front silver cloven hooves heavily.

"It is said by many that the level of ignorance can be seen through the tongue of the speaking subject. That is no way to treat or speak to a lady whom you have yet to even meet, brethren. For all you know, this lovely lass could end up being the creature that saves your life when you need it most. No need to burn bridges before they have even been built." It not just was a word of advice that Blitzen sincerely hoped to be heeded. It was a warning, though he was never one for instigating something. However, he was one to intervene and was one to stand up for the weak.

Blitzen's sky blue eyes softened and his head rose. His tail tuft flipped back and forth and his five-horned head looked to the mare with a soft nod and then back to Kreiger with another nod. His ears relaxed and a warm and friendly smile soon crept onto his face. "Now, shall we start again? I am Blitzen and the griffin is Comet. And whom may you be? Both of you?" His eyes looked from the two before him to Comet and then back.

The griffin leaped from the tree canopy and spiraled down, softly landing on Blitzen's back as he stabled himself with his magnificent wings spread.
