Hybrid Character Design
Name: Fig Age: 1 (yearling- ages in Birdsong)
Height: 17hh
Breed: Gypsy Vanner
Colour/Markings: Black; Hind legs with white stockings; Front right with white coronet only; Facial blaze which flares across nostrils and tucks beneath chin; black forelock, mane and tail.
Traits: Extensive leg feathering; Thick, long mane and tail hair- characteristic of breed.
Hybrid: Lignea- Arborun
Traits: A curtain fig (ficus virens/white fig) is rooted across her withers; its hanging/loose roots drape down her barrel and shoulders, and across her rump; produces edible fruit and leaves can be eaten.
Personality: Peaceful, spiritual; tries to maintain equilibrium around her. In tune with nature, and favours environments that suit her bonded tree.
Magic:
Active- Earth | Fruits produced can heal the mind though the healed will need to eat frequently to maintain effect.
(U) Leaves can heal the body though they are quite bitter to taste.
Active- Can will the roots from her bonded tree to grow and entangle target, living or not.
Passive- Earth | fig birds are attracted to gather and nest in her canopy like they would an ordinary tree.
