The sparks that jettison out from the Blue's hooves set the mood, a match even for the beauty of the setting sun; however, you're in no mood to enjoy the beauty. You're in the mood for chaos and destruction. Ampere barreled into your life, started a war with you despite your status as (mostly) innocent bystander and then walked off like she owned the place. You're here to set the girl straight, to prove to her that she's nothing special and that she can't just have her way all the time. Nobody likes a brat. So, with this goal in mind, you refuse to acknowledge the ominous silence she tries to create, refuse to fall prey to her innocent words and refuse to accept that the orb belongs to no one. She's wrong. The orb is yours.

Still, out for vengeance though you are, you've seen the girl's explosive displays. You remember her flair for the dramatic and the passion she has for her useless cause. You know, though your brain refuses to acknowledge it, that this will not be an easy fight. But you will not back down. You don't so easily forgive- especially a crime against your drug habit. As if to accentuate your thoughts about the difficulties you'll soon face, the Blue flares her wings. The motion is abrupt, unexpected, and you flinch away. In retaliation, you lift your lips and reveal green stained teeth, brow furrowing as you grumble menacingly, but the response is likely lost in the billowing dust storm the girl creates. Still, you're patient. Still, you wait. She'll come. If there's one thing you think you know about the miniscule woman, it's that her heart won't back down when it thinks it's right. You're not disappointed.

With the glint of sun and sting of dust in your eyes, you're left only with your ears as the girl begins. This time even ears fail you, the thick layer of dying grass muffling the girl's movements to naught. Only the rustling of her feathered wings and feathered ass give you some indication of her position as you try to clear your eyes of the damnable dust that the Blue has kicked up from the earth. And then she screams, a vicious war cry that only makes you laugh as you tense your muscles and dig your hooves into the ground, preparing for some sort of impact.

She materializes from the cloud of dust in a chaotic storm, a blue bolt of lighting that is aiming for only one thing- you. She leaps, her wings beating furiously and slapping against your head in flurries of motion. The dust has cleared but now you're blinded by feathers. Bitch, you curse to yourself but the thought is quickly replaced by less charitable thoughts of the girl as you realize her leap was only a ruse. Electricity crashes into your side, a painful stimulus that courses deep into your body, preventing you from rearing up as you would like to, accented by the impact of hooves on your back. Even as the jolts fade, you're left dealing with the aftermath. Electric burns on your left rib cage begin to manifest, causing your skin to become tender.

However, a warrior's heart is not so easily swayed and even as she is falling ungracefully back to the earth, you're reacting. You require payment, demand retribution, for the wrongs she has committed. Your body creaks into motion, hooves crashing against the earth in a symphony of grunts and staccato thuds. You swing to your right, trying to throw your shoulder into her ass and knock the girl off guard. She has speed but you have size. Ever mindful, you keep a wary on her wings but do not stop. It hasn't been lost on you that the sun is now at your back, in the girl's eyes should she turn, and you try to take advantage of this. Once more, your hooves find purchase and you force your body into a rear, trying to ram your chest or knees into her side.

Already, your left side aches at your motions, the rhythmic throbbing a painful reminder that Ampere obviously has the hearts of the gods on her side. But you've gone disrespected too long to give up. Even against the gods, you will fight. Even against a girl who might shock you into submission, you will rally. If you have failed in the eyes of the deities, it is only for lack of guidance. You'll show them they're not needed. You'll show them that you deserve more than fleeting glances of pity. You'll show them you're worthy. Then you'll cast them away when they return you to their good graces. Fair weather friends aren't friends at all.
