The familiar landscape came into view, the once charred land of the World's Edge now healed by the divine powers of the Earth and Moon. Finally, restored back to its rightful state and beauty, the way it was when he first journeyed here with d'Artagnan. This land would be even glorious by morning. It was to be remembered, also, that those same divine powers are what destroyed it in the first place, a memory to serve as a reminder in a way. The Sun was not to be trusted. However, this mare Faelene would not know the damage the land had suffered and Descaro wondered if she thought it beautiful. He shook his thick mane and continued into the healed forest. Enjoying the life under his cloven hooves instead of what was the dead ground. He slowed his walk ever so slightly as a small clearing came into view but big enough to be comfortable. Entering it, Descaro came to a steady halt and sighed with content. The sky was still starry and the glorious moon looked down through the branches, creating patches of light here and there. The Warrior looked towards Faelene, "here we are. Welcome to the Worlds Edge" he gestured all around them, his eyes were kind. [Faelene first, and then anyone] those who live are those who fight

Traveling behind the stallion was a lot easier than the journey here. There was someone's steps for her silver ones to fall into, and someone who new these lands and perhaps the ways and tricks of it's inhabitants. She was not as anxious about meeting another in her new found company, but her ears pressed to her skull wondering what that meant. Certainly she did not trust him completely, but she couldn't deny there was some there. A warrior with honest words, taking her to a kingdom of unicorns was surely no trick. There had to be something to it. Much as she would like to have more information about World's Edge and what would be expected of her she had feeling the time would come soon enough. She had a feeling maybe their words were not safe until they reached this kingdom.
They traveled through the shadows, she took notice of the landmarks they came acrossed. She wasn't sure if she would feel safe leaving her "new home" and she would like to remember how to get there. The if right now was, would it be? Would the King deem her worthy? She was not sure, and tried not to think about it while her legs pulled her closer to the gates of the Edge. Dark eyes concentrated on the obsidian cords of his Descaro's tail, afraid to lose it despite being an inch from her gray muzzle. Though she could not see them so greatly, but tall black things she was greeted by the tall, needled trees. She took in their size, stature, and their smell. Something about it reminded her of spring, and she let out a faint snort, her eyes looking to Descaro's. She asked no question, and continued, keeping watch for any other Edge members. There was no one. Stretching her nose heaven bound in the woodland clearing, she gazed now at the moon and stars and felt comfort. If only she wasn't wishing and praying to stay. "It's lovely," she replied, her head dipping downward to meet his gaze. Now they would wait.
