Normally the obsidian knight would take pride when another feared his presence. However, he was growing rather bored of seeing her radiate fear. Perhaps he had been too intrusive of her space however, but he couldn’t help it. She was so different than any other mare he had seen in his time. She held no unique scent, but she held a beating heart within her chest. Silently, he watched her as stepped away obviously nervous about his curiosity. She was but a child to compared to him, and even though the thought of lust had crossed his mind it had long passed now. He wasn’t a young cocky stallion anymore; he had learned to control his urges. Her body language was throwing all kinds of mixed signals, but there was one he clearly understood. She was afraid; and rightly so.

"Do not be afraid Ayelet." He murmured softly against the breeze. He was trying to put her mind at ease that no danger would be coming from him at the least. He wasn’t here to cause trouble; he wasn’t here to ruin her. "I will not hurt you." He took a few paces back, ink dipped lobes pricking upright upon his skull. It was not his place to corner a stranger, let alone a mare. As she hesitated to respond to his question he let it slide, as her past was not his current concern, he couldn’t make her tell it. Her following statement about home being permanent made him reflect on the Woodlands; and what had become of Home. "If the world allows it." He said plainly, hinting back to a world she was probably very unaware of that no longer existed thanks to the changing times, war and famine.

A slight smile played on his lips as she inquired about his invitation to a home. It made him feel good, that he actually had a home to go too after five years of running on empty. "I do, a land of peace and beauty, protected by barriers unseen forged of glass. A shadowed forest where light only glitters through the canopy; a land of the moon goddess lingering on the oceans bay." He smiled at his description, how wonderful he made it sound. But words did its beauty no justice. She would have to see It for herself. "The Worlds Edge, they call it." He breathed, his masculine tones fading into the shadows as he turned to gaze at the moon as she smiled down upon the duo. "Should you desire, I could accompany you there." He stated, turning back and resting his (what seemed to be) gentler eyes upon her painted panes. Lobes lazed to the side, though listening to hear her soft voice.
