Why I was here I did not know. It was becoming more and more of a pain to be on my own outside of the protective walls of the Edge. However I would not go back for anything in the world. I loved being away from my family. Granted there had already been a few times I had to take off running to keep myself safe, but it was ok. I knew my big brother was sending Alanna to find me day to day... I had smelled her many times, and smiled knowing my family still loved me even if I had to do things my way. I just could not stand around under a family that did not feel like family. Only Aaron, Sakura and Azale were my true family... Maybe Kimber too.
I could tell the day was ending, as it was getting colder and colder as I moved along. My keen sense of hearing picked up quickly the sound of several others close by. Wondering what was going on I moved to go find out. My pace was slower, but I got there soon enough. I could not tell what was here, but I could smell the scents of my siblings and others. Others that were from other herds and other outcasts like me. Why we were all here however I did not know. After all, my eyes would not allow me to see. I was to curious for my own good sometimes. All I could hope for was that no one attacked me.
