Windwalker Tell Me, Would You Kill To Save A Life? Blood rushed through his veins the moment he realized that Africa had caught up with him. To say that he felt like a complete idiot was an understatement, but he had no other option than to give her a crooked smile at her attempt to make him feel better. When it came to his journey here, it had been easy enough. He had lived almost all his life in the mountains and had learned at a young age to find his way by using the sun and the stars, so instead of telling her this, he shaked most of the red sand off his coat. The reason may have been to buy more time with her. The plant that fell from her wing then caught his attention and he streched out his neck to investigate it closer, before he offered her a smile that crept all the way to his eyes. "If it contains the qualities you hope for, I am sure it is worth leaving me for" He offered the words to her, but they did not sound quite right when he said it, so when she turned to show him the rest of the way, he followed. As he walked a few steps behind her, he thought about betraying some of the things he had carried with him since she left. "My dear friend. I have done some thinking when you were away, and I have come to the conclusion that I have to change who I am to best serve you and the herd" What he wanted to get out of this converstaion was hidden from him, but it felt good to finally be completely honest to someone who had a pulse and could talk back. "I am willing to leave my old self behind and start again on a blank page. I will not let my fears rule me or keep me from doing what I want to" As the lake came into sight and the night crept closer, he closed in on the space between them. "I have been born again, thanks to you. I owe you my life, if you would have it"
