FROST FYRE
But with what we have, I promise you that. We're marching on.

Gentle steps, weight pressed upon cloven hooves. Chilling breath escapes soft ebony lips, snow flakes catching upon dark lashes. Her pillars move with a godly grace, thin whip streaming behind her as snow trails behind her. Black tendrils of silk fall against her neck as she halts, small elken figure standing tall beside her. They gaze out upon their home valley, the girl trying to spy her Knight. A frown shimmers against coal kissers as her mind whirls, thinking of the ashen Knight she is oh-so fond of. Sighing out wisps of frosted breath, she sets her path down to the center of her snow covered residence.

The walk seems to take longer than it really was, her vessel rushing in front of her, excitement bubbling from the little calf. Her glittering emeralds travel swiftly across the snowy backdrop, no colors to dance upon the blank canvas. She stands still for just a moment, softly sculpted features expressionless. Finally there is a spark of color dancing several yards away, reds and blacks clashing together. The withers of this waltzing beast had been brushed by the spirits of snow, leaving a white dash to a dark cocoa banner. This familiar warrior flickers through the head of the girl as she finally finds a name after moments of grasping in the dark. Déodat. The word remains in her head, mind toying with the sounds of this stud's alias. She hesitates to call her to his attention, wondering if she should even bother wasting her time with the brute. She stands and watches him dig the snow up, mossy pools watching every movement of his. Her mind has slipped from her vessel, who walks towards him, nose outstretched. The little creature creeps forwards, tripping on a rock barely visible under layers of snow. Graceful as she is, her vessel is not even half as much. Falling face first into the cold, soft snow, the mythical animal lets out a wail.

Lobes fall back as her bonded struggles about, dark coat suddenly covered in clumps of snow. She quickly glances at Déodat before rushing forth to aid her wailing Half, muttering foul words beneath her breath as the creature nips at her leonine tail, which hovers beside her. The feeling of her hair being yanked makes her wince as she frowns at the little calf. "Stop it.." Their mental connection flickers as the vessel's ears fall back, silver moon's dimming. It appeared as though he wished to speak something, but all that came out were odd clicks and whirs from his end. Turning her head away from her ungraceful Half, she smiles at the bloody bay boy. "Sorry for this." Glancing at her guilty looking vessel, she offers in more apologetic melodies. "He's not as balanced and graceful as you would think." A soft giggle falls from her lips before she looks at Déodat, wondering if he was even caring about her presence.
"talk talk talk"
