Tangere’s muscles have not yet felt exhaustion – she’s built for endurance, though she lacks in speed when it comes to flat out running. She’s an excellent navigator with her legs reaching and feet placing perfectly; it’s from four straight years of scaling intense terrain, alone. She’s taught herself grace, cunning and become quite skilled at setting a decent pace while moving about in unknown lands. She doesn’t follow very closely at first, but once Illynx begins to talk, Tang’s delicate silver and white ears absorb her sultry notes. Her dark eyes soak in the landscape, swaying from the mountains to the path ahead that winds into the valley and tree groves. Orangemoon brings with it cool breezes, but once they descend the currents of gushing cold air are suppressed and even blocked in some thicker areas. The smaller mare’s chest warms as it should when you find home – the earth seems to grab her by the soul, and with Illynx’s guiding help, the Basin sucks her in.

She resists the urge to grin wildly like some sort of child when receiving a gift. She can only quietly listen for now – the golden spackled mare has a rather dominating presence, something Tangere is not familiar with, but very much appreciates for some reason. She keeps an ear on the woman without waver, and once and a while she’ll even tilt her facing eye onto the mare while she speaks. When they stop to drink Tangere lets the air stay pliable with silence, chuckling innocently when she can comfortably do so but otherwise letting the mare have all the room she needs to tell what she needs to tell.

“Welcome home” is still rattling subtly in the back of her churning mind while she listens; most likely a sounding memory that will not fade with time and will be repeated back to her upon every return to Aurora Basin.

When they arrive in sight of the statue Tangere lets an audible gasp slip through her pink lips. She looks to Illynx with soundless shock – blinking as if the lack of focus is the reason she sees the seemingly magical monument. She remains without words though, simply lilting her baby-face to look upward at the bronze unicorn.

Lord of Spark, mirror in the Horuspex cave. Sleepy forest, more caves, cool ass Hot Spring I MUST check out. Check.

After watching the statue and keeping her ears on the mare. Her eyes move back to Illynx in order to remain respectful even though she’s hardly keeping up with everything being told and shown to her. Despite her overload she does not show it, leaning both ears upright and giving the gold mare her full attention once more. She cocks her head the last bit of information given – this is the point where she decides to talk as if she hasn’t been weirdly mute for nearly the entire duration of this even. “And what is his name?” She looks back at him fondly, and the affection is unplaced within her mind; she cannot find the source of her euphoric reaction (inside) to seeing it, being in its presence. “And why do we give him ore, if I may ask such a question.” She speaks softly, like a subordinate should; if she were a wolf she would be splayed out on her back.

It’s amazing how raising yourself can give you manners much better than your parents ever could have. Heh.
