Something foul was in the air, Descaro had always been on avid patrol and his mountain lookouts had told him that perhaps everything wasn't quite right. At first he'd put it down to his own mind playing tricks on him and he had believed that, quietly telling himself off for being so unnerved by nothing. Perhaps it was because of his last adventure in the snow had been a rather long one and he didn't wish for that to happen again. There was no need to fear the mountain, he understood it better now, the ways in which he lived and breathed. Many had claimed title of Lord and King, Queen and Empress, but in the Aurora Basin mother nature did as she wished and the mountains sheltered them. No, best not fear them, respect would be a better way to go about it.

However, it turned out what he thought was just instinct was wrong, there really was something wrong and warped out there. It troubled him greatly that his Lead saw no other option to leaving, what exactly was out there? Was it really that bad that they had to leave. It felt like he was running away from something and Descaro hated running. A warrior should always stand and fight. Yet, here was his former General and now commander of all, telling them to leave all that is precious to them to go somewhere alien. As Deimos didn't explain, but it was clear from his stance that something wasn't right, Descaro had never heard of Sanctuary, but he obeyed without question. It wasn't his job to ask questions. He just did as he was told as that was that. Maybe when they were at this Sanctuary he would be given more information. There was one thing to do now.

He nodded once to his Lord, setting himself a brisk pace, eyes casting about looking for danger and strangeness, before following Deimos from the Basin.
