Hellä
warm your hands on hellfire and brimstone
</style>

She stood there, watching as the stud wrecked into his daughter, tearing into her ripping skin. He finally made her fall to the ground, her gray body flailing around, hoping to swarm from her father’s firm hold. She was unsuccessful in trying to infect him, her jaw reaching up but his large hoof coming down, hard. After that, she was unconscious and was being dragged into the cave. He picked her up by her neck, where the muscles were thick. Her skin ripped off her rump as she was dragged about, and now the dark knight’s muzzle was stained in green saliva from her neck. He was still crying; tears riding the ripples in his fur, like a wave riding the ocean. He was heartbroken, it was a complete giveaway. He had took down his own daughter, knocked her out cold, and now was feeding on his own blood. It was a wonder that the infected, green blood didn’t infect him also.

The wind shifted and her scent flowed through the quiet cavern. The stud dropped his daughter softly to the floor and shifted his gaze toward the dappled lady. He stared at her for a few moment before finally speaking his shuddering words.”Help me.” It wasn’t a question. It wasn’t a command. It was a simple statement, begging for help. He dragged he carcass closer to her bodice and the awful, zombie scent became so powerful that the mare had to sneer at the stud to make him stop. “Close enough.” Her eyes narrowed and then she held her breath, inching close enough to grab the black tail of the faint mare. “We have to take her to the river; near the Wall of History... That’ll heal her.” Hellä mumbled through the thick tuff of hair she tugged on, telling the steed to follow.

She lifted up the white mare’s rump and began walking, the stallion following beside her, still carrying his daughter in his tight grip. Hellä glanced at him from the corner of her eyes, noticing his solemn depression. He was in pain, it bounced off him like a bullet ricocheting off a thick piece of metal. Her gaze shifted forward again and she continued on, acting as if she hadn’t seen anything.

As they entered the middle of the Sanctuary, another voice spoke up. ”Should I send Alanna for help?” She didn’t know who Alanna was, but she had seen the stud before. It was back in the waterfall room, where the illusions had haunted her. He was one of the ten that had encircled her. Hellä dropped the mare softly to the ground and looked back to the painted stud. Her head cocked tto the right side and her eyes were fixed on his own brown orbs. “Who are you?” She didn’t mind asking the rude question, for she had asked it so many times at the waterfall pond and no one had answered. Hopefully, this one would.
