ORANGEMOON :: Year Eight
 ORANGEMOON cools off the lands with a a viscious force. Colder than normal, a sign of things to come during Frostfall, Helovia is bathed in a rich tropical lushness - albiet a cold one. The coastlines of the Dragon's Throat are pelted constantly by tidal waves, and the desert climate is humid but chilly. Ice begins to form early in the Aurora Basin leaving the winding trails slick and dangerous. The mists of the World's Edge coat everything in a glistening crystalline shine which encourages mould to grow everywhere. The Spectral Marsh is the only area which remains fertile, blissfully temperature and lush.

WEAVER, Corporal of the Aurora Basin, is a relatively recent addition to Helovia and has taken it by storm. Branded with the seal of Death on her chest, intrigue and interest follow both her past and present. Though she is assuredly beautiful, her sometimes sharp personality reveals that there is more to this uni-peg hybrid than meets the eye. Proving herself able on the battlefield in the Basin’s warrior ranks, we can’t wait to see her test her mettle against the looming Kaos happenings! Congratulations! |

Malleable software - Gold is malleable, and she has gold horn/stockings Already taken - Tied in with the next lines, Illynx was already infected when she told Deimos to run. Spoke only to flee - Told pretty much everyone who came in contact with the wraiths while she was present to run. :| Fear trembling - was quite afraid before the transformation took her. Long shot but yeah. D: I'm paranoid.

I know this is a backwards, uncountable clue, but it sounded good in the prose. 0| [color ref] Ultimately I fail this clue because out of the whole line the only truly applicable clue is malleable and that can mean so many things. If you had hinted in some way towards eyes or vision that would have made this plausible, but as is gold is a color that does not make me think Resplendence, and I have to even come up with gold through malleable, which could imply so many other things or colors (aluminium/silver for instance). Malleable software initially made me think of someone gullible or easy to manipulate which is not the clue you're applying. though it seems something has already been taken—pardon me? --> Missing her ear, someone "took it". When someone does not hear they often ask "pardon me?" 0| [appearance + history ref] Much like the above clue this is just too broad for me to fit it to the certain region of resplendence you're referring to much less Resplendence period. I could easily apply this clue to any number of Helovia characters. The pardon me part was a good attempt to link it to hearing, but that didn't click with me at all, especially since from what I know people say any number of things when they haven't heard you. History ref. 0| [history ref] This was a difficult one, because I get the clue once explained, but just looking at the clue alone it doesn't exactly fit. The clue points to ugly, not a lack of being called pretty, and in her profile it does not say her parents called her ugly, just that they never said she was pretty. If your clue was more along the lines of her never being called pretty it would have been more passable, but just saying she's ugly isn't in the history plus she did meet someone who did call her pretty later on. fear trembling up the serpent’s grasp. --> Fear trembling = she was afraid when she was left to fend for herself. 0| Lots of metals are malleable. This seemed more like a reference to someone who could craft metals, rather than indicating one specifically.
