Sacre watched with a perplexed expression as a girl, older than himself, was talking out loud to no one in particular and getting quite angry about it. In one sense it was strange and the boy was beginning to wonder whether he should leave her to it, after all, it was the rock's fault not his. Though the more he watched her the more and more he became amused, struggling to stifle his sniggers as she walked back from gulping down the air from outside to stand, rather unladylike like, against the wall. She seemed to whisper something, but the boy didn't quite catch it and for a while he stood there, waiting to see if she'd do anything else. Her little performance, coupled with her striking appearance made the boy stand fast in hopes for a little more entertainment from the mare who accessorized with feathers. Perhaps this was what days of confinement did to horses, he himself had started talking to the arrow woven in his tail, as if it were his brother. The days were long, dark and strange.

Deciding that bite the bullet, Sacre came forward from the corner he'd been standing in, aiming to stand in her line of sight, carefully placing his smooth, pale treasure behind his sooty forelegs. Head raising to try and catch the electric blue of the odd winged mare who liked to shout at inanimate objects as if they could argue back. "Uhrm..." He faltered for a moment, swallowing as his mind went blank and he didn't really know why exactly he'd approached her. Maybe it was because she had made him laugh and it had been a while since he'd laughed.

"Are you okay?" Stupid question! It fell from his maw before he had time to stop it, scepticism lacing his voice with naked honesty as he looked at her with wide eyes. The boy inwardly scolded himself, knowing on impulse he'd just given away that he'd been watching her and now he wished he'd just stayed in his corner, but he couldn't help himself. No, silly Sacre; he should have left her scolding rocks.
