Noor
From the moment we are born, we begin to die.
From the moment we are born, we begin to die.
Noor sauntered through the trees aimlessly. The transition from sand to soil felt interesting under her debilitated pistons. Noor had just passed through a rather dramatic dust storm and the woodland in a way startled her. She had been expecting to find nothing but vast desert ahead and this greenery was quite surprising to say the least, though she wasn’t quite sure it was a welcomed surprise. Grains of sand decorated her lashes and inhabited her hair as she slowly entered the embrace of the forest. Her bones were protruding rather harshly from her flesh giving her the semblance of a decaying corpse. She hadn’t eaten for days and it showed; disturbingly so. It wasn’t that she hadn’t any opportunity to gain sustenance, actually quite the opposite, Noor just couldn’t find the will to relieve the hunger. In fact she had left the craving for food behind many days ago along with her desire to live. For all intents and purposes Noor had planned this to be her final voyage. However as the scenery changed from desert to lush forest she began to think it wasn’t quite over yet. Much to her dismay.
