Two visitors joined Ampere in the moment, their silence a testament to the captivation provided the God of the Sun. Even their appearance did not stir Ampere's attention, though she knew they were there, watching, waiting just as she was. "What will happen next?"

She almost leaned forward when at last the titan of flame moved to speak, his tone gentle given his reputation and the ignorance of her query. A small noise left her throat when he confirmed, as if there was any doubt to remain given all he radiated. "So It's true..." she thought, watching him through the veil of her feathers, "the Gods do walk here." She had always been uncertain, too wary to believe easily after knowing the legends and lore of other regions, each of which bespoke their own gods. Even now, was he not more than a mortal wise in years and abilities honed with practice?

"No," she thought with a newfound faith; there had been too many instances of bizarre happenings, even for the magical, to deny the existence of the heavenly beings. Especially now - could they end this?

He spoke further.

His voice was as rich and colorful as honey, and it suited him. A smile flirted on Ampere's face as she listened, a rising joy coming unbidden. She had been miserable so long, but now, now she found the light in this dark hell, and she gripped it tightly. He passed it on to her, in a way implanting the ability within her so that she would rise and guide and heal the treachery of this armageddon.

Lead.

The idea scorched her and she shuddered as flesh is oft to do after a burn. His words held such weight and intent within them, each syllable settling hard and heavy and hot in her mind. Could she lead? She had never been one for herds, but was it not the answer to her unrelenting loneliness? Was it not an army she needed to change the world, as time and time again had proven the ineffectiveness of her singular attempts?

Ampere exhaled suddenly, unaware she'd been holding her breath. The blue of her gaze came to life, contrasting with the orange light of the lord as she glanced to Africa, a mare that held so much more against her than Ampere could ever return - the grey was but one moment of frustration at the poor ethics of the world. "We can change the world though..." Ampere's glance whispered, the curves of her iris matching that of her smile. "If you want to."

"I would like nothing better," Ampere was able to say at last following his final words and moving to pursue him back into the world, into life.
