Why I yet again left the safety of the caves I was not sure. But at least the sun was back. It was not darkness like when I had arrived here. Somehow, something about this place everyone calls Helovia had changed me.... Changed me in good ways... I think. My coat for example, it was beautiful. It always seemed to shine, no matter in the sun or moon light touched it. But at the same time, my short mane and tail never tangled either. In fact, it was almost like I couldn't ever get dirty at all! Momma had been like that too....

With a sigh I thought about my Momma. Would she be proud of me? I made it here, and found family.... Even if it was not blood family.... But I was surviving. I had in my time alone found out why I had felt so warm before. I had been gifted.... Or maybe I had it all along... With the power to make balls of fire. I however could not hold them for very long. With that the most I could make was three small ones or one big one. I longed to be able to do more. Just like my Momma, I wanted to be able to protect myself... After all, Elsa wasn't always with me.

I had spotted the painted lady not long after exiting the caves. Out of curiousty I followed her to see where she would go. I however was in awe of where we ended up. Momma had told me about this place, the ruined shrines to all the Gods of Helovia. She had also told me how the rude... What was that word she called the Moon Goddess? I know it means more than one thing.... Ah all. Either way, she was loyal to the Sun God mainly. He had been the one to make her coat so pretty.

Then suddenly, there he was. At least, that has to be him. He's on a shine that looks to belong to the Sun God, and has dazzling flames... I could do nothing but stare and move closer as the painted lady and a stick headed stallion spoke to the Sun God. Another pegasus like me arrived and spoke too. Thier word confirmed what I had already figured out. They all seemed to be respectful to the Sun God. I could only hope to sound the same. Softly I spoke up, my voice seeming so tiny in his presence. "Hello Sun God Sir. Are you the one who gave my mother her magic? Cause if you are I should thank you, cause she protected me with it from wolves... She's up in heaven now, I think..." However I forgot to mention her name.... But hopefully he would know who I wa speaking of. After all, I only knew her as Momma...
