He could not mistake the scent of Lotus for any other, and he inhaled the intoxicating smell deeply. Bronze eyes flickered from irritation to euphoria for a brief moment before gripping his senses once more. The stallion then noticed that she was round with child, and he raised a brow curiously, smirking slightly as she brushed past him with purpose. In respect for her rather bloated state, and shifted to the side and allowed her to pass, wondering just what sort of monster was taking shape in that womb.
The one with antlers had an irritated and disgusted expression that nearly rivaled his own, and he snorted in amusement, nodding his head at her pointedly. She was a lone spirit, an individual with nothing to contribute to a large crowd, and he respected and understand that fact.
Some sort of wild, barely coherent stallion repeated "Edge" like a mad cheerleader hopped on hallucinogens, and he decided that he was rather fond of that misfit as well. This entire bunch of rather irritable misfits was glorious and entertaining. Mauja spoke to them and a few offered their efforts to be an emissary, phantasm and a warrior.
The talk of a wolf hybrid thing was concerning, and Ulrik paused thoughtfully. "I suppose having the wolf female around as a pet, perhaps a guard dog, would not be so terrible," he offered in his deep, guttural voice. It was obvious that he did not see her as a true individual, just like the hornless and the sky rats.
A grinning creature who was covered in leather stepped up to Ulrik's side, and the large stallion's ears tilted in his direction. Something about him rang mad too, and the machine maker assumed that his trade was working with leather. "You are a skinner, yes?" he asked, having had some small interactions with leather workers. His herd called them 'skinners' or 'skin rippers'. "Perhaps you and I can work on augmenting my creations. Skin is a useful tool."
