I move quietly in the new land, my new home.. the Hidden Falls. I'm following Midas's call to this home. I pick my way carefully through the paths in the forest. There's light in front of me, an opening, some sort of clearing. Sure enough, the paths eventually open up, and I see a meadow. Nearby I see a large gathering, on a sandy beach with dark water. Above the masses I can see a spotted winged beast. Midas. My king back at Dragon's Throat and my king now here at the Hidden Falls. I approach slowly, not knowing if I am welcome among these strangers. I say strangers, but it is clear that I know some of them. I see before me Parelia, the prissy pegasus who once drove me mad. I wonder if my feelings toward her are the same or if the infection has changed them. Those that I'd once seen in the forest.. Amani, Oxy, Agrona. I know their faces. Seele, the painted face who warned me from the old marsh. She is the new queen of the Hidden Falls, if I heard correctly. But then, I could be mistaken. I've been terribly out of the loop. I approach, nearing the gathering, and stop toward the back of the group. I lower my head politely and greet the leaders of this herd. "Midas, Seele. I am sorry for my late arrival." I lift my head and look around me, expecting to see the one that I truly desire to be with. I don't see her gray one-winged body. Where is my Africa? Wouldn't she follow Midas as I have?
