The smile that crosses my Queen's countenance at my response seems forced, and though it is a sign of cheerfulness, she seems troubled. Before I can dare to ask, however, she has suppressed it and offered a more genuine smile. I let the matter slide, not wanting to force her to speak about something upsetting. She knows what to do with me, and what surprises me is that what she graces me with is such a high position. Sun Physician? Wow. My eyes widen slightly and my ears perk up. That's the highest ranking for healing within the herd. I'm not sure that I have any reason to be placed in such a high position, but I will accept it with humility and gratitude. I bow my head to her, a soft and graceful smile upon my face. Raising my head again, I finally speak. "It is an honor, Sultana. I will do everything I can to bring honor and respect to this position." Suddenly I feel self-conscious, and I toss my dark mane over my two-toned face. I bow again, and let my wings spread and lie on the ground. When I rise once more, I extend my nose to touch hers, if she allows it. "I shall not disturb you further, but if you ever need me - for anything -" I emphasize 'anything', wondering if she needs a confidante. Though it may not be my place, I want to offer the shoulder that my Queen may need. "- I am at your service." And my lips press tightly together again as I feel I may have overstepped my bounds.
