ROHESIA

Thump, thump, thump.

Rohesia’s hooves pounded into the trodden earth as she sprinted further and further into the seemingly endless wood. Ghostly trees seemed to twist, turn, and reach their scratching limbs towards her as she ran through the growing fog. Her heart began pounding quickly, following the beat of her hooves.

Thump, thump, thump.

A wall of fallen trees with hundreds of sharpened sprigs rose before Rohesia. She turned just a little too quickly; her feet slipped out from under her and she slid through the mud towards the heap of trees. She released a terrifying wail as she rolled into the flattened side of a wide tree; the branches entangled her and scratched at her as she tried to pull free. Her heart pounded faster.

Thump, thump, thump.

Stop struggling! With each ragged breath twigs scrapped against her stomach but she stopped fighting them. Three times she kicked against the solid fallen tree, hoping to allow herself more movement.

Thump, thump, thump.

Nothing. She let out a puff of breath and laid her head against the muddy ground. I deserve this, but no! No I don’t! She scolded herself over and over. Maybe I did run away, but if I didn’t I would be dead. I didn’t come all this way just to give up, stuck in a big old mess. She lashed out with her teeth and bit into a bunch of twigs. The edges cut into her gums but she pulled with all her might and ripped the bunch away. She continued ripping bunches away until her upper legs were free and she could stand with them. With just enough momentum she pulled her back legs out of the tangled mess. Relief and pride flowed through her. I’m strong enough to do this.

She was terrified of leaving her old life behind but even more afraid to stay. If she stayed they would probably have killed her though she could never have been sure. What if I stayed? Maybe I would have been pardoned and gone back to work as usual. Even she knew she was lying to herself. Trying not to pay attention to the minuscule cuts covering much of her body, she decided to continue at a steady walk. The cuts on her skin weren’t as deep as the cuts on her heart. She may have been a servant to her herd but she loved many a soul there. Now they’re gone and I’m gone.

Rohesia stopped next to a thick based tree that was almost fully white, only a few brown patches remained. She nudged the tree with her nose, curious why it was white while all of the trees nearby were covered in brown. When she touched the bark it fell away, revealing the brown beneath. This was strangely terrible to Rohesia. Something that white had to be pure, but when she touched the tree its’ purity vanished, turning to a contaminated brown. Is that what I do? Do I destroy, poison? Her thoughts were nonsense. She was in perhaps the lowest place she had been since she was only two. She shook off the memories and the emotions that came with them. I have to keep going.

Thump, thump, thump.

Eyes wide, Rohesia’s head shot up. She couldn’t tell where the noise had come from. She defensively backed in circles looking for the source of the sound. She thought she was alone, but yet she still could be. Maybe it was some fox or squirrel running along the treetops, but she couldn’t help feeling defensive. She wasn’t used to being in situations where she didn’t have the control and not long ago she had been tangled in a mess of trees! She was starting to wonder that, even if it meant death, maybe she should have never entered these woods.

"Hello?"

DALIBOR
I am someone to hate

Dalibor had taken to the air in an attempt to clear his head. After that ridiculous herd meeting, he was reconsidering following Africa to the Dragon's Throat.

He had nowhere else to go, and a herd was better than no herd, right?

Dalibor didn't know anymore. The pegasus was alone no matter where he went or who he was around, so what the fuck did it matter? He snapped out of his thoughts when the tip of his hoof clipped the top of a tree and he looked down with irritation.

Which led to him spotting some dolt wandering around below. Were they lost? They looked lost. Feeling a compulsion of altruism that irritated him even more, the reddish male descended and landed roughly, unhappy. Shit like this was pointless. But this had been the sort of thing she loved in him...and for her sake, for her memory, he could not simply turn his back on everything he had been.

A pathetic 'hello?' chimed out and the warrior tucked his wings close to his body, trotting out of the trees. "You look lost," he stated unceremoniously.

narrator . speech . thought

When a red horse head appeared Rohesia almost sighed with relief, but then she took another look at him and realized he wasn’t a horse at all.

Pegasus, she wondered and gaped at the wings closely tucked near the stallions’ body. The herd she had been a part of for three years, that which she fled from, never had any horses with strange limbs. Rohesia had always wondered why her royals seemed to have a distaste for their winged and horned brothers, of course she never dared to ask.

One time a Pegasus had roamed near the edges of her homeland, allowing her what she thought was a once in a lifetime glance at a magical creature. With an overwhelming curiosity she temporarily abandoned her little snakes and roamed closer to the creature. Before she could reach it three guardians came upon her, one escorting her back to their steadfast and the others racing after the Pegasus. Her curiosity earned her less than a slap on the wrist but she had always wondered what that Pegasus’ curiosity had earned it…

This Pegasus didn’t look like the one she had seen that day. That one was golden and glorious looking; this one had ragged scars on his face and his color reminded her of blood.

Rohesia may be brave but not necessarily in the face of battle, certainly not the kind this beast must have seen. His tone only made it more obvious that coming to her rescue was more of a burden than a kindhearted action. She sneered at the prospect that she needed rescuing.
I shouldn’t be this pathetic. But she was. She was alone in a new area, injured at that, and this imposing Pegasus seemed to be the only one who could help her.

“I guess I am lost, but I’m not sure where I am going either,” she lowered her head at the confusing statement. It was true in the most logical sense. She had ran off in the woods without any inkling of where she might be headed, only the goal of getting away as quickly as she could. Look where that has gotten me.

She admitted she had never encountered a wood so devoid of life. Something about the air in the woods made her skin crawl, like an overbearing force was scratching against her. She swished her tail at her sides, trying to chase the feeling away.

“Could you tell me exactly where I am?”

She had been on a peaceful stroll when the sound of voices reached her harks. Cocking her head to
let them flow into her harks, she realized she didn't know either. Stepping lightly through the melting forest,
the pair soon came into view. A beautiful coffee colored mare, and a two toned brute with wings tucked close. She
watched the awkward scene for a few moments from behind a bush that had begun to bloom, the colors of spring
kissing it's branches. When the girl asked the question that made it obvious she wasn't from anywhere around here,
Abishia answered from her sheltered area.
"Welcome to Helovia darling, you have graced your presence in the Threshold."
She smiled slightly,
proud of her sneaky approach and mystery she had built. Quietly, she made her way around the bush, glass feathers
clanking in her tail as they bumped one another. The item she had found yesterday was beautiful, and just
so happened to suit her perfectly. The beautiful glass horn that looked ever so realistic, and the glass back peice
that flexed with her spine, leading to an area that wrapped around her tail head, spreading out and cascading downward
in glass strands that led to glass feathers, which she had learned that they glowed a purple hue in the darkness.

With her forelock covering the base of the head peice, and that didn't know her previously would suppose she
was a Unicorn. The base wasn't visible at all, so in a way, she felt as if she had gotten what she had hoped
for her entire life. Gracefully, she made her way over the pair, long strides on strong pillars, meeting the
ground with dainty hooves. She halted, dipping her head to the toned Stallion then to the newcomer. Equine
and Peagusi? Waste of souls.
The thought crept into her mind, and she let it sit there, now aware that she
looked like a Unicorn, so why not act like the blood-savage beasts that lived up north? Quickly, she pushed
away the thought, knowing she should save her savage actions for later. Showing no evidence of the evil, on the
outside she simply looked like a kindhearted, sweet mare. Smiling warmly, she began to speak.
"I was passing by when
I heard voices. I simply couldn't help but answer your question Miss. But now do me a favor and answer
mine. What shall I call you?"
She then set her gaze on the handsome winged Stallion. Swinging her head
so she could get a proper view of him, she loved the way the weight of her new horn affected her dome.
"And you, sire?"

I was really tired. My blue eyes were bloodshot in the edges and my ears were drooping upon my skull. My left ear still hurt at times, as it took way longer to heal than the rets of my body. Several parts had been bitten off it, jagging it. At least I wasn't bloody anymore. On the way here - I was by the Threshold.. I think - I had taken a bath in the Thistle River, bathing away all the dried blood and cleaned the wounds. They were all clear now, just cuts into my black skin and showing off my pink flesh underneath. Dezba had taken a bath too - although she wasn't as happy about it as I was. She grumpily walked next to me, her coat still a little bit wet and a frown clearly had taken it's place on her lips. Will never bathe again. she complained, and I smiled widely. She was such a cat sometimes. Dezba glared at me and growled for a short second, as if she was offended. Feline, indeed. Not a cat. My smile got even wider, but as soon as she continued I laughed. ...you can be a cat. "Dezba, I know that you're not a cat. You're a feline." And then, I heard voices. Several.

I pinned my ears and gazed over the blossoming forest and through some trees, I saw three figures. "Could you tell me exactly where I am?"
"Welcome to Helovia darling, you have graced your presence in the Threshold." I rose my head and opened my eyes widely as I stared at the filly who had last spoken. I recognized her. A lot. Dezba, do we know her? I glanced down at the feline next to me, who had also pinned her ears and stared at the group in front of us.
"I was passing by when I heard voices. I simply couldn't help but answer your question Miss. But now do me a favor and answer mine. What shall I call you? And you sire?" Abishia. Aza's friend. I thought I recognized her. Except she has a horn. Let's go say hi. And as I said that - or, more correctly, as that thought passed - we started to enter the small clearing that the group was standing in.

"Well hello, everyone," I smiled, and looked over the three equines. One of them was winged, while Abishia had a horn upon her head. I raised a 'brow slightly and glanced at Dezba. Did she really have a horn before? I don't remember any horn. The jaguar didn't reply, just watching over the group. My gaze switched between Abisha and the brown mare, who both had a very delicate built bodies. "Are you looking for a home?" I asked, only slightly glancing at the pegasus. He smelled of sand and heat, which made me think of Dragon's Throat. He already has a home. I thought, before fully concentrating on the mares again. Maybe I could bring some more people home?

"Talking."

narrator . speech . thought

A sudden disdain washed over Rohesia as another horse appeared. Back home she knew who everyone was, where they were, who they were talking to, what they were doing; that was her job, to know everything before it happened. Here was different though. She had no idea who could be lurking where and, what frightened her the most, what their intentions might be. Furthermore, she never had interaction with these types of horses before. First a Pegasus, now a Unicorn. Where the Pegasus had inspired feelings of fear in her, the Unicorn had a calming presence about her. Her stature and trinkets made her appear proud, if not excessively so with her appearance. Rohesia tried to regain her sense of duty by dissecting the new face in front of her. To her disappointment, she just pictured a sweet mare who only wanted to help. She grew increasingly frustrated with herself; she had been at her job long enough to know there was no such thing as a truly pure soul. Everyone always has a game plan and an end game. She had lived by that ideal for so long, but now everything was changing. Maybe she would be willing to accept there could be something truly good in the world. Probably not.

The first words the mare had spoken snapped Rohesia out of her spiraling thoughts. “Threshold? Threshold to what?” The name had an ironic ring to it. Maybe this will be my new beginning; or maybe this is the threshold to my hell. Either way, the name gave her a sense of finality that she had been lacking before now. No matter what happens in this new place she finally realized she could never go back. With a new feeling of determination, Rohesia raised her head high and said, “My name is Rohesia. I don’t believe I caught your name?”

Just then a Unicorn cloaked in black with a dual-colored horn appeared, a large cat just as dark following closely behind. This time Rohesia didn’t let her mind recede and turn on itself again, instead she let it work. The new mare seemed just as kind as the previous, but she brought an unsettling aura with her. The Jaguar’s eyes seemed to follow every movement the others made with calculating precision. Rohesia tried to ignore meeting the creatures’ eyes, instead she focused on the new Unicorn who seemed to be its’ master. She noticed immediately that the mare all but ignored the Pegasus, focusing her attention on the other two mares. When she asked if Rohesia was looking for a home it all became clear. This is a recruitment, she wondered curiously. These horses were looking for herd members, or the equivalent. This made Rohesia feel very powerful, that for the first time in a while she had a choice of who she would become. She saw three very distinct futures mirrored by the equines in front of her. The only question that remained is which direction she would choose to go.

“Yes, I am looking for a home.”

DALIBOR
I am someone to hate

Dalibor opened his mouth to answer this equine's question, hawkish yellow eyes narrowing in a promise of violence when some female voice floated out from the bushes and stole away his words.

Who the fuck did this woman think she was?

He turned his attention to the emerging mare and snorted audibly at her appearance. "A fake horn? Really? You're so desperate that you're openly pretending to be something you're not?" he asked derisively. Everyone played, put on a face, a mask, made out to be someone or something they were not - but that? That was a special level of pathetic he had not witnessed until now.

Shameful.

As was customary, it seemed, more flocked to this solitary, unclaimed mare as the seconds wore on and the warrior male closed his eyes in annoyance. More women. A flock of them together was perhaps the most annoying thing he had ever encountered and he was outnumbered three to one at the moment. Odds very much not in his favor.

Of course, where they were was improperly explained, places referenced as if this poor newcomer would understand. "You are in a place we refer to as the Threshold. This is the natural entrance to this region of land known as Helovia," Dalibor finally spoke again, opening his raptor-like orbs to affix them on Rohesia. "This area is like the doorway to a new realm; you are standing in the threshold; you have yet to cross through, in a sense." Such an observation was rather poetic for the fighter. His eyes judgementally flitted to the fake unicorn as she asked his name. "Dalibor," he answered coolly.

Dalibor's attention was drawn by the jaguar the actual unicorn had brought with her, and his wings lifted from his body some in a natural defense mechanism. Large felines were predators by nature and Dalibor wasn't about to be caught off guard should that cat decide to pounce. Voice directed to Rohesia, but gaze most certainly not on her, he offered an observation. "You will not find a welcoming home with unicorns. Likely why that one has jammed a fake horn on her crown. Unicorns only like their own kind." Managing to tear his gaze away from the jaguar, it settled heavily on Rohesia. "The leaders of the Dragon's Throat are welcoming of all kinds, I am told. You would not be looked down on for your lack of horn or wings."

Crowned dome turned to set it's focus on the newest of them all, one she had come to know. Azarel's mother. Anger flashed within her as she remembered the way he described how brutally his mother had been treated, and how alone and desperate he had seemed. Her dome tipped to the side, her eyes glazing in confusion. She looked so broken and bruised, but still managed to be quite polite. Abishia flashed a kind smile to Delinne, waiting until she was finished speaking before offering a response. "Delinne, it is a pleasure. Azarel... I haven't seen him for a few moons, but I thought I would let you know that he is fine. " She dropped her voice to a low whisper, stepping forward to the mare, so only she could hear. "He told me about your travels. I'm sorry..."

Then, kind orbs focused on the girl that was center of attention, she seemed somewhat confused, maybe scared, but the child wasn't very good at reading actions or words. Flicking her harks forward, she listened to the mare's words, who addressed each of the three's words separately. Quietly, she watched with contentment, with no pressure to inform her about a certain herd, or even try to sugar coat everything to lure her home. No, her only intentions where to help this mare, who now declared herself as Rohesia, an odd name, but flows nicely off her tongue. Abishia nods slightly, a kind smile washing over her kissers when the mare is finished speaking. But that smile soon faded, the rude, two toned winged one stepped forward, poison leaking from his maw, words lashing from him to slap Abi right across the face.

"A fake horn? Really? You're so desperate that you're openly pretending to be something you're not?" Inside, a storm brewed, ready to be let out and create a disaster at any moments notice, but on the outside, she remained calm, simply looking him over as the words hung in the air, tension rising and silence greeting the four of them. A reaction is what he wants. Slowly, she cocked her head, keeping herself calm although rage boiled in her breast. She was no desperate filly, no. She got what she wanted, and it was her choice if she wished to be crowned or not. It wasn't up to this excuse for a peagusi to declare how she felt, and why she had received her gift. "Sir, you don't even know me. Being so quick to judge makes you look foolish. This item was a gift from the heavens, winged one. In no way was I desperate. Don't shame me, but reflect on what you just said, for that is worth shame. " She then nodded politely, motioning that she was finished speaking. But there wasn't a moment that her fierce gaze wasn't on his frame, watching his every move and simply waiting until it was time for her to speak again. He spoke of the Thresh, then stated his name, which Abishia dismissed with a small smirk and flick of her head, horn catching the light once again.

But in no way shape or form was the child prepared for the next idiotic phrase he spoke. Was he ignorant or just fucking judgmental? Now, she let her orbs blaze with the light of anger, but kept her actions calm. He went on about the Dragons Throat, but to Abi it was just mumbling. The rage, it was unbearable. How dare he tell the newcomer that she was racist, that all Unicorns were racist. When he had finished with his vague description, Abishia stepped forward, glancing over to Delinne before making eye contact with Rohesia. "A simple case of racism, displayed here before you, miss Rohesia. I do not rein from any herd, I only wish to help guide the newcomers, and offer my friendship. " She then turned her dipped dome towards the dumb boy, the urge to jab her glass horn into his chest was rising, but she knew that it would be wrong. She had now place to do that, for she would be stooping just as low as he. "Dalibor, I do not call the North my home, where the Basiners live. I am in no way shape or form like them, nor do I wish to be. How would you feel if I said this kind mare couldn't leave with you simply because you were winged? Or how about Delinne? Is she horrible also? " Setting her gaze back to Rohesia, she focused on her purpose to be here, to help the poor girl that had got caught in between this useless scuffle between Abishia and Dalibor. Features lightening, and orbs returning to their usual, kind aura, she spoke softly. "Miss, I apologize for this rather, " she glanced to Dalibor, flicking her harks, " uneducated, and useless throwing of words. " She then stepped backwards, not motioning her end of conversation, just simply standing in a more comfortable position, cocking her left hind leg and flexing her shoulder muscles momentarily. "There is also the Hidden Falls and Worlds Edge. Each welcome those winged, horned, or ones that aren't either of these. I have experience in both of these herds, but none with the Throat. I can state that the Falls have mighty leaders that do well for their herds, and a quite impressing sum of herd-mates. The Worlds Edge is also a fine place, I've heard many good things, and know that you would be welcomed there, well, in each of these herds. " Giving her curt nod, she signified the ending of her words, hoping that Rohesia had received at least some important information. But then, she spoke again, gaze locked on thge beautiful mare before her. "And don't get me wrong, I adore and respect all races of horse."

Tooo much was happening all at once. The filly greeted me, saying that she had met my son not too long ago and that she was sorry for me. I raised a 'brow before I gave her a calming smile. "Thank you for your sympathy." I whispered and then turned my head to the brown equine and the male pegasus. From the corner of my eye, I saw that the pegasus was eyeing Dezba just like she was eyeing him and I smiled widely. Was he afraid? "You will not find a welcoming home with unicorns. Likely why that one has jammed a fake horn on her crown. Unicorns only like their own kind." As soon as he stopped, I gave up a small neigh in shock and opened my blue eyes widely, but before I had the chance to snap back, Abishia took over. "A simple case of racism, displayed here before you, miss Rohesia. I do not rein from any herd, I only wish to help guide the newcomers, and offer my friendship." Okay, so the brown mare was Rohesia. Pretty name.
"Dalibor, I do not call the North my home, where the Basiners live. I am in no way shape or form like them, nor do I wish to be. How would you feel if I said this kind mare couldn't leave with you simply because you were winged? Or how about Delinne? Is she horrible also?" And the pegasus was Dalibor. Okay, now everyone knew everyone.

I waited until everyone had finished talking before I turned my head to Dalibor and parted my lips. "Firstly.. I am not racist, Dalibor. I have never been. I even had a winged mate and have a young daughter with wings, I loved him and I still love her." The words were harsh in tone, but I spoke nonetheless. "Be careful before you assume things." My voice got lower and I glared at the pegasus before I turned to the mares. "And yes, there is more than the Dragon's Throat. I have been to all four homes in my life, and I can tell you that my current home is the best I have experienced. The Hidden Falls, a home of waterfalls, forests and mountains where equines of all species live." I spoke kindly, looking straight at the brown mare but also glancing slightly at Abishia. Maybe she would follow me home as well?

"As darling Abishia here said, I am Delinne. The jaguar next to me is my bonded companion, Dezba. Welcome to Helovia, lady Rohesia." A smile - for once it was friendly - crossed my lips. She's pretty. Dezba noted and I nodded slightly her way. Yes and she seems perfect for the Hidden Falls. I wonder what she specializes in. I hope she's a nurse or something like that... We looked over the small group and simply.. waited.

"Talking."

narrator . speech . thought

Rohesia pinned her ears at the warrior Pegasus and then looked quickly at the painted Unicorn. Equine, not Unicorn, Rohesia realized as Dalibor had pointed out the base of her artificial horn, holding it snug to her head. The mare’s forelock had previously covered the base but had slipped away just enough to bring it into view. She must hate who she is to want to change herself so much, Rohesia thought sadly.

Abishia lashed out at Dalibor quickly, but that did little to settle Rohesia. The stallion was rude and seemed to enjoy conflict; the mare wasn’t confident of who she was, whether that was because of the Unicorns or not. Abishia continued on, giving the impression that Dalibor was a narrow-minded, racist sort who deserved little more than a passing glance. Even though Rohesia felt they were both right in their own way, she couldn’t help inching her way towards the two mares and away from the stallion.

Abishia’s way of handling her ousting impressed her far more than Dalibor’s oppressive attitude. Though he said Rohesia would not be looked down upon for her lack of horn or wings, he looked down on these horses for having, or wanting to have, horns. Rohesia finally decided she couldn’t rely on this hostile, judgmental Pegasus and relocated herself between the other two mares.

Doing her best to raise her ears and hide the venom in her voice, Rohesia said,
“I don’t think I’ll find myself a home with you or anyone like you. I fled a home of rampant racism. Your disdain towards these Unicorns only shows that you may very well be the racist one, not them.” When Rohesia called the girls Unicorns she made sure to place emphasis on the term. Though she may not approve of Abishia trying to change her species, she still respected it. Everyone should have the chance to be exactly who they want to be.

Delinne’s diversity and acceptance was intriguing, she felt that she could trust Delinne’s opinion. She couldn’t help but be intrigued by Dezba as well. She had never heard of jaguars and horses working together let alone them being called companions of them. Subconsciously, Rohesia had already made her decision: she would have to follow Delinne. I want to, she corrected herself. She had three choices and, through their own prejudices, found exactly what she was looking for. She would no longer be shielded from horned and winged creatures or the other wild animals she had been taught to fear. There was so much change around her and much more to come, the thought filled her with joy.

“Delinne,” she said shyly, “could I come with you? To the waterfalls you talked about? I’ve never seen one before.” She looked towards Abishia, “And will you come too?” Though she may be uncomfortable, Rohesia wanted to change completely; so much so that if anyone from her herd ever came looking it wouldn’t matter, she would be unrecognizable.

DALIBOR
I am someone to hate

Dalibor snorted, a sneer affixed on his face as this Abishia prattled on and on and fucking on about how fabulously tolerant and loving and open-minded she was.

Nauseating little quim.

The warrior remained silent, allowing the women to do what they did best: weave words. Useless words, but words nonetheless. And when they were done, and when Rohesia chose the women - as he assumed she would anyhow (women rarely stepped away from their own protective little herd when they outnumbered a man), he was deeply disappointed, but unsurprised. Turning, expression genuinely etched with pain, the scarred pegasus smiled grimly.

"You have chosen the prettiest words, Rohesia, and for that I wish you the best. But know that those who weave the most beautiful verbal tapestries are also those who are most likely to be the ones whom you don't see stab you in the back until the knife is already deep in your spine." The small male stood proudly, though not threateningly upright, hawkish eyes coated with a visible sheen of pain as he looked to Delinne. "You took a pegasus for your mate? A unicorn murdered mine, and my unborn child."

His gaze shifted to Abishia and utter loathing snaked over his features before he quelled the venomous emotion. "You, who tries so hard to make it painfully obvious you are ever-so-tolerant and all-loving? Unicorns enslaved me for no other reason than I am what I am and therefore lesser." His eyes now shifted to Rohesia, who had apparently grown a spine enough to pass judgement on him as well. "Emboldened by numbers on your side, I see," the warrior wearily commented. "Am I racist? Maybe. Do I assume I will encounter racism, hate and violence from unicorns? All of my prior experiences say yes. So forgive me," he growled, the words hard-edged with sarcasm, "if I am judgmental of the horned ones. Few have proven me wrong."

Dalibor watched them go, pride smarting, knowing he had been bested by the power of the tongue. Did his honesty mean nothing? Was presenting himself as he was with no apologies for being himself that...divisive? Unappealing?

Repulsive?

Wings sagging sadly, the bereft berserker trudged away from this failure of an encounter, thoughts drifting to his lost mate. Allana I miss you terribly. You blunted my sharp edges; filled my cracks and gaps; quelled the fires of my anger and hate. You made me a better man. Without you...I'm nothing but a poisonous husk and my only successes are driving others away.

A glance back at the receding mares brought him conflicting emotions. That Abishia was a manipulative bitch, and one day, he would break that pathetic glass horn that crowned her head. Delinne, on the other hand, seemed someone worthy of a second assessment. She had taken a pegasus for her mate, had a winged offspring...perhaps she was a unicorn not obsessed with the spike jutting from her skull.

She was in this place...the Hidden Falls? Perhaps he would seek it out, seek her out, speak to her.

If she did not turn him away on sight, that was. Dalibor seemed to have that polarizing effect on people.

A smile ran over her kissers as Rohesia accepted Delinne 's offer, who not to Abishia 's knowledge,  was part of the Falls. Images of the beautiful waters and small clearings plentiful with grass lingered at the back of her mind, happiness replacing the rage that was brewing in her breast. She looked on at the mare's, two more friends to add to the elongating list of them. Not even Dalibor 's pathetic plea could entrance her, for the joy running through her veins was much stronger than the pressure that the brute was attempting to put on her, a failed attempt.

Brutal stare turned to the Stallion, she flicked her dome toward the bushes, signaling for it was time for him to leave. He was No longer welcome here,.nor did anyone wish for him to stay. The child did No harm by this gesture, and in No way shape or form did she feel as if he was inferior enough for her to boss him, it was simply the fear of his plea turning to rage, his actions that have proven to be unpredictable in the short time they had conversed.

Attention turned back to her two lady friends now, a friendly smile wiping away the grimace that was placed there previously. Abishia took a few steps forward, then signaled for Delinne to take the lead, smiling lightly at the spotted feline beside her, wonder escaping into her orbs and displaying there momentarily, but her smile did not falter. Slowly, she took a place beside Rohesia.  "If it is fine with Delinne,  I would love to visit the Falls... Possibly stay there. " She giggled gently, waiting patiently for Delinne and her beautiful companion to begin the journey."I hope you enjoy it here in Helovia Rohesia.  You will probably be a very great herd member. "

Abishia became enclosed in thoughts as they walked, wonder, doubt, and determination all taking her focus away from the real world, and putting her into her own, new world. Where carelessness didn't exist and worry was strong, doubt common and wonder an every day thing.

Yay for Rohesia!!  Wondering if we are just going to continue this thread in the falls once Ro is accepted? That's why I kind of said they were walking and such ((:

As I looked over the group and waited for them to finish talking - slightly noticing "You took a pegasus for your mate? A unicorn murdered mine, and my unborn child." which hurt my heart -, I started to think about the Falls. Were they really as lovely as I said they were? I mean, look at the leaders for example. One was a crazy psychopath - the way I saw her - and the other belonged in the Dragon's Throat. Though the herd... Stop overthinking. Falls lovely. I glanced down at Dezba, who was looking straight at me with a neutral look on her scarred face. You always overthink. Stop. She had never interrupted me like that before, or told me to stop thinking too much. My ears shifted curiously when Dalibor turned to the brown equine and spoke, and I couldn't help but looking at him as he did.
"Emboldened by numbers on your side, I see. Am I racist? Maybe. Do I assume I will encounter racism, hate and violence from unicorns? All of my prior experiences say yes. So forgive me if I am judgmental of the horned ones. Few have proven me wrong." I immediately spoke small words, whispering them his way. "My kin has betrayed me many times before... You're not alone on disliking their choices." I frowned slightly, because I knew how he felt. Unicorns had murdered his mate and child, while they had abused me throughout my childhood and only tainted my family to slowly cause the death of my lover. Azzaron, I miss you.. Mother, I hope you find peace.

I looked up and saw that both Rohesia and Abishia were looking at me, and I rocketed a smile at them. "Delinne, could I come with you? To the waterfalls you talked about? I’ve never seen one before. And will you come too?" I watched as Rohesia looked over at the equine - or more artificial unicorn - and smiled at her reply. "If it is fine with Delinne, I would love to visit the Falls... Possibly stay there." My smile got even wider and I stretched my neck to bump my maw against their shoulders. "Of course, come with me." My voice had a happy tune, as I knew that I had contributed to the herd today. Two new members. I turned around my black, scarred body and glanced back at them, wearing a kind smile upon my black lips. "Let's go home."

"Talking."
