 if you don't have a weapon you can't have mine "Ktulu!" The dark mare stumbled ungracefully to a stop, legs braced apart to support her as the weight of a single word crashed against her mind. "Lakota?" She had assumed her own desperation of finding Lakota had made the bear jump at the first figure he had seen, but she knew that voice well enough that it seemed to make her very soul tremble. "Lakota!" The Poisoner came to her quickly and Ktulu blinked as the unwanted image of herself lowering her horn to skewer the other mare flashed angrily through her mind. A roar burst from Eytan's maw and as quickly as it came the image was gone leaving Ktulu momentarily dazed. Ktulu grunted as Lakota's weight pressed against her and she hooked her neck over the other mare's back and pulled her possessively against her chest. Her ears lay back against her head as she held tightly onto her poisoner, refusing to let go or loosen her grip for several minutes. In the distance she could hear grunts from Eytan as he reunited with his own friend and engaged in a game of tag. The sheer joy that the grizzly felt at playing such a childish game made the corners of Ktulu's mouth curl upward. Everything finally felt right again. "I've been looking everywhere for you." The Constrictor growled as she lifted her head enough so she could look at the scar that crossed Lakota's back. The scar that she had purposely left there in her sickened state. He brushed her muzzle against it, frowning as she did so. It made her sick to know that she could do something so terrible to someone she cared so much about and even as she thought about it she could hear Eytan's voice echoing in her mind, telling her that it wasn't her fault.
