I am someone to hate Life is shit. And then you die. Right? That was Dalibor's credo at the moment, angry as he was. Looking around, he ground his teeth together, hearing the pop of his jaw echo in his own ears. Too many things that had dredged up old memories; too many flashbacks. He hated the flashbacks - oh how he hated the flashbacks. They were consuming, impossible to rip himself from, like being back in the very moment again. For a moment, Dalibor wondered if the Dragon's Throat had a healer he might visit and inquire about these mental...issues. But for now, no. He was angry, and anger meant violence. Who was around that he could fuck up? The blue psycho lightning bitch had offered to fight those who were willing. He was very willing. Or was he? In a moment, the anger had given way to apathy, and Dalibor considered this course of action. How else would he deal with the pain and the loneliness and the hate? What else made it fade away like violence? This would be therapeutic. He hoped. Besides, the Dragon's Throat Sultana deserved a bit of an ass-kicking, regardless of the outcome of the spar. He wasn't sure he had it in him to win. The fighter didn't give that much of a shit. A short trot brought him to easy takeoff speed and Dalibor took to the air, circling a few times before he called out for the one he wanted. "Ammm-peeeee-yeerrr!" The summons wasn't given in his usual brusque tone, but rather in an almost sing-song bellow to the skies. Surely she would hear him and come. At another time, Dalibor might have found this situation arousing and wondered at the possibility of a satisfying romp following a rough battle. Not today.
