Adele's brow furrowed, bi-colored eyes scouring the rotunda. There was no sign of the Regime she had held so dearly to her heart. One of the few blood relatives she had left led the group. Her brother. But where was he? Tyradon wouldn't just abandon them...that's just not something her family would do.
Frustration seeped into the red and blue mare's features as she hung her head, eyes clenched. It was back to being just her and Vera. The little dragon purred upon her back, touching her nose comfortingly to her bonded's withers. 'Keep hoping,' Vera's voice sounded, soft and reassuring for once. But a response from Adele never came.
There wasn't much of a point to her life anymore. She could always join a herd, but was that life really suiting for a mare with a flaming mane? The fear of rejection was something Adele battled with internally. It wasn't as if anyone ever really did push her away, but her outlandish coloring made her insecure nonetheless.
Where to go? What to do?
The questions wouldn't stop coming. They plagued her mind like an incurable sickness. 'Magic?' the dragon suggested, suddenly piping up. She jumped from her bonded's back, landing upon the ground with an exciting gleam in her pale eyes. The mare sighed, opening her eyes and turning her focus on the ground. Perhaps it would get her mind off the recent happenings of her life.
In the blink of an eye the ground began to rumble, then from the earth a block began to rise. Sections of dirt fell from the block until it was a bench the perfect size for Vera. It had a base that curved into the main swirling section, then it flattened out into a nice seat for her companion. The dragon trilled, jumping the foot and a half into the air to reach the little bench. She crawled in and out of the structure, a toothy grin plastered onto her lips.
And for the first time in quite a while, Adele smiled.

It had been a few days since the race, and the hatching of his Cerndyr. Anna wearily was keeping up behind him. She was barely above his hoof it seemed, and he would always massively tower over her. The white spots that speckled her back began to darken, no doubt he thought, to be a sign of her elemental choice. Occasionally he would see a black, dark mist rise in puffs but slowly die away. She would always wail a little, something that reminded him of a laugh.

They began exploring again, or so Biru did. Anna seemed to not mind, though her tiny growing body could not keep up with his larger one. She tried her best with gangly legs to bound after him, as the duo approached a large, flowery looking rotunda. They stepped inside the majestic structure. Large, flowing drapes billowed out in the wind, before winding themselves back around the rock towers. Anna's gangly body slipped over the smooth surface, before curling up in a small fawn ball near Biru's feet. He laughed low and deep, reaching his muzzle down to touch the small babe. "Anna you mustn't wander so close to large feet." She opened one yellow eye, looked at him, and stuck out her tongue before curling back into a ball. Quickly she began to snooze, like a little toddler.

Biru looked around, noticing a figure not far from him. It smelled of horse, and something reptilian. He nickered slowly, allowing the figure to know he was within the walls of the rotunda. He couldn't specifically see who it was, only a shadow behind the curtains. Anna gently stirred before moving right underneath Biru's stomach, comforted by her companions large, hulking mass of flesh.

@[Adele] hope it's alright timeline-wise, I waited until Anna hatched to post here! <3 So Vera and her could maybe meet.
