The water before him seemed much more appealing than following the black mare with the purple horn. He gazed at her cruelly before taking one last look at the rushing water and turning himself towards her presence. Her words caressed his drooped ears, he was tired, tired of all the shouting that he had been listening to for the past while. He did not reply to what she was saying, her explanations meant nothing to him.

His belly ached and his legs throbbed, he was certain there were blisters harboring themselves on his exposed skin. The tips of his mane were black like charcoal, crisped and fried and ugly. If those were the kind of responses and solutions that happened regularly as a result of these issues he may as well leave.

He listened as the black mare called for support, his spirit lightened a little at the request hoping that someone would come take away his pain.
Despite all that had occurred he still did not blame the pegasus. He knew in his heart that all of this happened because of the responses given to the situation. He did not hate them for it, yet he wanted to express his frustration and anger to someone who would not get him into trouble.
