And as I had expected, an Edger came forth to greet me.

My gaze wandered from the stranger's hooves up to his eyes and I raised a brow slightly. He was taller than me. What the fuck? The coat of the tall stallion was an earthy, brown tone interrupted by white on his withers and right by his tail, causing white to flow in his dark hair. And no horn. Nor wings. Interesting. I watched as he came closer and then spoke, dark tunes rolling off the stranger's tongue. "What brings you to World’s Edge?" I glanced at Aslan, who just looked right back at me, and then turned to the giant again. "I don't know." Wow, my voice was almost as dark as the stallion's. When had that happened?

I cleared my throat and forced a slight smile to spread across my pale maw, friendly as can be. "I guess I just came to visit my old home on my way back to my family. The name's Azarel, but you can call me Aza. This is my companion Aslan." My ears both flicked forth and the golden feathers moved with them only to move back to their place with a quiet breeze. The cub upon my back meowed and crawled up on my withers, curious about the foreigner in front of us. He had never seen one without a horn before - I had almost forgotten that part. "What's your name?" I didn't walk any closer to him, no, I was quite happy where I stood at the moment.

As we looked around, I noticed something shiny behind the trees. What... What was that? "What is that?" And I apparently decided to ask the exact words that had crossed my mind only a few seconds ago. I looked at the shiny thing from top to ground before I turned my head to the bay, confused. "What is it made of?"

"Talk."
