What she finds from her partner is simplicity, one plain that has become unusual to see. From what she is learning, he is one that she has become to doubt no other would be like. No one seemed to be set on their great abilities as he did, and she found a small amount of faith in her, and a thin dusting of admiration that she had never felt in the past. In all, he was a warming blanket without even having to touch her.
A little part understands his loneliness, nodding slowly as he says the words. The cold air of the North brought more loneliness then anything else could ever bring, and for what nights she did not have Adrixaura near to keep her warmth, and to bring safety mothers were entasked with bringing. By that point, the majority of their band had faded out as if candle light in a rainstorm. It was made not to survive.
"It seems that loneliness is becoming much of a plague, isn't it? You could always make time for such. It's bad for the heart." Her words are meant to be kind, offering comfort if he was to need in it how none did not need his presence. Any presence offered to herself was greedily taken. There was always a constant need to fill her voids, but some refused to fill, and if they did, drained quickly as if a plug that held them in was removed. "If you want, you're more than free to spend time with myself, for you start feeling lonely."
Greedy, needy.
At the thought, she tosses her head, shaking it where she has to stop and stamp a hind hoof in annoyance as of herself. Jumping when something does pass her by, she uses it to her advantage, playing it off as a reaction to whatever was unseen passed. She was never much for ghosts, but the feeling left her uneasy.
"Would you like to walk beside me?" Their space had come to open more, and yet, while she wouldn't let herself admit that she was frightened by what she could not see in what was now full night, she was desperate for what seemed to bring closer protection. She was made to heal, never to charge into battle as he was. Things that went bump in the night could rattle her bones, and spark fear to her. His strength and size were what made her more comfortable, the horn that had once been a blessed night light could no longer have the task done.
