hey sister, do you still believe in love, i wonder? My heart was pounding, pounding so much that it was wreaking havoc on my head and radiating a headache that is sending searing pain through her. It was so much pain that I even missed the words of the healer who would be coming for me. But, as Sohalia took a step back all I could do was croak out a pleading "No, don't leave," before my body began to betray me. The mare who stood over me, asking what pain I felt only got part of a response. "My head…. It hurts.." I whispered, unable to go farther as my rapid breathing continued. But that's when it all got even worse. It started with my ears spinning around, as if they were spasming, and my eyes rolling back so that it is pure white - not just the pale crème colour they had been. Then it moved to my limbs, she weak shuddering as my muscles not only cramped, but tried to move along with the directions of the seizure brought forth by the stroke. It was not violent, no bones would be broken, but due to the dehydration there was an even stronger chance that it would happen again. Another whisper of "I'm sorry," and my frame fell still, eyes closed as unconsciousness took over. No sweat dared to fall upon my frame - a symptom from the heat stroke. And my heart rate was racing even more now, trying to pump the small amount of oxygen my short, rapid breaths could pull in. I needed water, I needed to be cooled, and I needed someone to prevent another seizure as my body tried to level itself back out. I'm sorry for worrying you,  |
