The Path Of The Moon
HISTORY
♠ ________________________________________________________ ♠The Path of the Moon is a land where no sun ever shines, only the phases of the Moon define the seasons. Nights are never-ending, until one ventures far enough away that the cosmic barrier that separates this realm from the others is passed. A celestial creature, the Lady of the Moon, some labelled her Lady Luna, reigned over the lands with her gentle silver light, giving life to plants and beasts alike, without the need for Lord Solar to ever rise his fiery head. Many ventured to these lands of eternal midnight, many were born there.
A line of Arabians, thought to be descended from the first stallion that ever walked the Path, existed in these lands. They Ruled over the kingdom upon their royal mountain, the Lands of Artemis.
For the lands to find balance, the equines who made the realm their home were aligned, to Darkness, to Light, or to the gray area in between, the walk of a Neutral. The Royals were Neutral in their government, they oversaw all, though wars and chaos existed still amongst the people.
But such a system could not keep the lands steady forever. Unbalance came, and soon, eternal midnight turned to eternal disaster. Many fled, many were lost within the chaos.
LOCATION
♠ ________________________________________________________ ♠The Path of the Moon lies far to the south on the Loorien globe, where seasons are reversed to here. It would take at least 18 months to find The Path, even for one with wings, given the vast expanses of ocean and land that separate it from the rest of the continents on Loorien. And yet, some land-dwelling equines have managed to find their way across the oceans and seas, and through the many terrains of lands that litter the path between here and there.
