The breaking of the branches proves to be exactly as you suspected- the miniscule pony following after your useless boggart. As you watch her obediently close the distance between you, you feel a swell of pride in your body at knowing she will do exactly as you tell her to do, exactly when you tell her to do it. You are the proof in the pudding, as it were, that bullies only do what they do in order to feel bigger themselves. So, while you suspect it is unlikely that any of your soldiers will willingly do exactly as you tell them to do, it seems a fact of life that the unassuming creature before you will take orders and carry them out. Your only disappointment with her, as it was when you first stole her from the Rotunda, is that she is to small to fight. But beggars cannot be choosers, and since you haven't found any willing slaves anywhere else, you'll take what you can get.

“Well it took you long enough,” you offer her in a mildly annoyed tone as she bows. It actually wasn't that long, you suppose, but what better way to keep her in her place than make her feel like she's not good enough? In your head, you feel the sadness of your little boggart, who is upset that you would be rude to the pony for no reason at all. Though you have not had much contact with her since you acquired her, absence has made the boggart's heart grow fond as well. “I've got a job for you.” And then a moment later, “It's important so don't screw it up.” A bit of drool drips from your lips as if mocking you, questioning just how important any business of yours could actually be. You solve the problem by chewing one of your vines.

It occurs to you, then, that your slave girl mentioned that she knew something of herbs. You wonder if that knowledge extends to growing plants, rather than just administering them. You've been meaning to find out if it would be possible to grow your locoweed plants here in the Falls rather than having to trek all the way to the beach each time you need them. Then again... now you have a slave girl to trek to the falls. And with that notion, it is like a whole new world of possibilities has opened up to you. It's a shame, though, that you must attend to other more pressing matters first. “Have you heard of the Dragon's Throat, or know where it is?” Your hope is high that she does, as the only real knowledge you have of the place is that it is south. But, if she has to search a little bit, you suppose it's all the better for her. It'll keep her occupied and away from here, where nobody can ask any questions they don't need to be asking.
