It came without warning, arriving almost as fast as some monsoons hit in the southern lands. Laughs were sure to be risen from those that stood by and watched, rolling about and gasping for air as they laughed upon the pink shower taking all of the remaining runners by surprise.
The black and white mare stopped, Sikeax caught off guard and bellowing a loud whinny of surprise and slight annoyance to the mare. It meant no ill, coming off of her personality in a way that spoke she was startled, confused, just as lost in the mess as others were. She made no halt though, pressing forward shortly after her miniature tantrum of confusion.
Vision blurred as her eyes almost closed, throwing her strides forward as far they would allow themselves to go, the race seemed longer, made within a maze that was once an endless plain, a fog of pink(of all colours) falling from nowhere, rolling in to crash the parade and leave the members covered in a mess of their own sweat and cherry blossoms. Somewhere there could be people envying their current situation. They on the other hand, had no plan of such. Hopefully the finish line was closer, not far for their issues, only buried away from sight with the blinding mass. Her course remains the same, one that should of taken her to the end.
