The rainbow vomit skyrat mutant (Bellona required many adjective to fully describe in his mind) said nothing, and what a relief that was. He ignored her fully now without having to worry about twisting his expression painfully from what it desired to do. Instead, he focused solely on the black and white mare, this leader. She seemed very naive and kind for a leader. As a stallion used to male-dominated herds and lifestyles (and lets be honest, Illynx has a pair of balls and is tougher than iron), her position was rather comical. She hadn't been over thrown yet, so she had to be at least doing something right. Or, the herd was full of brainless sheep. He might have to pay a visit to decide which. He hadn't traveled in a very long time, actually - well except to here. Kahlua mentioned a name he didn't know nor did he care about and shrugged. "Maybe I will visit," he said, releasing his thoughts and answering her statement at the same time. After making her the gift, he winced at the volume and pitch of her excited squeal. But, what surprised him the most and caught him off guard was that she lunged at him only to... embrace him. Ulrik shifted his weight onto his hips, swaying backward and lifting his neck all on one, fluid, startled motion. His entire body stiffened as she rested her hornless face against his neck, ears tilting to the side in confusion. But, he remained still, teeth gritted together at the surprising contact and waiting until she felt sufficiently done with whatever she was trying to achieve. What the hell was that? Ulrik cleared his throat to try to get her attention, patience for such affection wearing thin. "Kahlua..." he rumbled, breathing shallowly. |
